Qorintu is home to many flying races. Becuase of the windmills that line the hills it has a lot of electicity to keep the city lit up at night. This city is not known for it's upstanding people. It is full of theives and well known for the jewels that come from the nearby mountains. It is the best place to get assassins and mercenaries.

At last Anetka arrived in Qorintu. She looked around and saw people rushing everywhere. Some were running around, others yelling, conducting bussiness, some robbing others... There was an endless view of people and other races scattered about, yet all packed together.
"It's so crowded," Anetka shivered, "maybe I shouldn't have come." Anetka shook her head. She came all this way and she was determined not to leave untill she got a job. She found a large crowd of people who seemed to be BIDDING on different assasins to do different jobs. The better ones got higher bids and the bidding stopped when the killer was satisfied with his or her pay. There weren't many "hers" though. Anetka was one of few girls and she noticed the that girls were on raised pedestals so that the bidders could see them in the crowded plaza. There weren't any empty pedestals left.
"Looks like I have to pick a fight, how boring," Anetka sighed as she prepared herself to steal a girls standing place.

Anetka didn't want to pick a fight with a weak looking girl because she thought that would make her look weak. She tried to find a suitable opponent. She saw a pretty masculine girl, one with a dirty face and a huge sword strapped to her back. She walked up to her and pushed her off the pedestal. The people bidding to hire her grew silent.
"Ya'll pushed me!" She exclaimed, whiping the dirt off her cheek.
"Wanna make something of it?" Anetka smirked. The girl got up and tried to punch Anetka, but Anetka grabbed her fist and squeezed it as hard as she could. She heard a crack and was satisfied. The other girl dropped to her knees holding her wrist.
"You broke it!" she wailed. Anetka didn't acknowledge her and she jumped up on the pedestal. By now most of the crowd watched her. Anetka glared at the girl on the ground, a death glare of hate.
"Leave," was all Anetka said. The girl scrambled up and walked away. Some people followed her while others turned to Anetka. Offers like "100,000" and even "975,000" went up. Finally a man stepped forward and shouted "2,000,000". Some grew silent, being a little out of their price range. The man looked at Anetka, waiting for an answer.

Cur smiled at Anetka, holding all the gold he had on him. "What? 2,000,000 isn't enough?" He asked jokingly. He offered his hand for her to get down. It's not like it was that far from the ground but he was a gentlemen. Once she got down he bowed. "It hasn't been a while. I could think you're stalking me." He knew that was impossible since he could go whereever he wanted but she didn't have to know that.

"Whose head do you value so much, Cur?" Anetka asked with a smile on her face. She actually thought it rather strange that Cur needed to have someone dead, but yet again, she wasn't always asked to kill someone. Sometimes she was asked to steal or demolish a building or some other request like that.
"Like I would ever stalk YOU!" Anetka said kiddingly. She was actually happy to see Cur in this crowded and slightly uncomfortable place.

Cur smiled and laughed. "Yours of course." He offered the money to her. He began to walk, figuring she would follow. He had to get out of the crowd, it made him uncomfortable. "I was starting to miss you. I just needed an escourt to see the Ancient Oro." He said, sliding his hands into his pockets. He looked to her for her answer.

Anetka was rather surprised. She was being hired as a bodygaurd, she understood that but, why for Cur? Maybe becuase of who he was, some people, holding angers in their hearts, could very well try to kill him. Yet, because of who he was, couldn't he easily take care of it? She couldn't care about details now...
"Fine," Anetka breathed, "but 2,000,000 seems like a lot. Your my friend and yet you're paying me to do this job. Well, whatever, it's your money!" Anetka checked her pistol and made sure her dagger was still at her side.
"Lead the way," she extended her arm to him. Although she knew him, he was a client know, and she had to treat him as such.

Cur's curiousity was getting the better of him. "Do you know who I am?" If she said it out loud and Lita heard he'd probably be put in solitary but curiousity was always something that got him in trouble. He wasn't worried about it. Although the other Gods were strict they never left him in solitary for long. "Besides. I missed you." He smiled.

"I do, but I'm not gonna tell anyone. That's my secret!" she smirked at him. "I haven't been a big fan of the Gods lately, but like I said, they did answer me..."
Of course she knew who he was. Anetka was good at figuring out these kinds of things. Although, even though he was a God, he still made her feel happy. Normally, she would distance herself from everyone, even a God, but Cur was different. He was her friend.
"You only just saw me yesterday! You miss me already," she couldn't help but smile. She laughed. "I feel so loved," she said jokingly.

"Of course." Cur said with a big smile. When they came to the base of Oro's mountains he had second thoughts. He wasn't really welcome as far as Nili was concerned. She didn't appreciate him much. "Besides, it's better to have a friend along then to go alone. It's not that I need protection, just someone to be with."

"Sure," Anetka smiled sarcastically. She looked at the scenery around her. She never saw it before, and she didn't know it's significance either. Since she never remembered being outside Gutre except for yesterday, she didn't know the land or much history for that matter. She barely even knew who her family was, let alone know about the world in which she lived. Maybe she could learn more from cur...
"Where are we going again?" Anetka asked shly.

Cur broke his attention away from the mountain. "We're going to see the Ancient, Oro. I have some things I need to talk to him about." He started walking, feeling Nili's eyes watching him from on high. It didn't make him nervous just a bit annoyed that she didn't trust him so much. But that's what you get for being Cur.

"Oh," Anetka sighed. She decided she better not speak unless spoken to. After all, she was dealing with Gods and Ancients. Who knows what could happen if you say the wrong thing in this situation...

The top of the mountain wasn't exactly hard to reach but most people didn't try either. "You okay?" Cur asked, trying to be polite.

"I'm fine, just a little nervous. Never been out of Gutre before yesterday and I ain't exactly to... uh, comfortable with "holy beings" or whatever. 'Cept for you of course! Just not exactly sure what to do, ya' know? How'm I supposed to act in front of Ancients..." Anetka blushed. She continued to walk behind Cur, still not knowing where they were or where they were going...
