An Academy Coat of Arms?

I'm thinking of making an Academy Coat-of-Arms. Perhaps, if it's good enough, you guys can stick it on the front page of the guild to pretty it up a bit (sorry, it is a bit plain neutral )

However, I don't really know where to start. I need some symbols... Any suggestions? Can you think of anything in particular that has special significance to us? I already know I'm going to use the gold coin, but I'm not much farther than that, especially in terms of layout.

In the mean time, I'll be at Wikipedia. whee

And at school. emo Bleh.

You could use a coin (As in the gaia gold coin) and have like katanas going behind it in an X. Just a suggestion and something to start us off so if you don't like it it doesn't matter. :3

rofl Cute, but I'm thinking something a little more formal... You know, like those awesome family coat-of-arms thingies?

Neways, I found a great website that provides the symbols and their meanings. Here it is! I'm already thinking of using a buffalo/bull, the color gold, and a gold coin. What do you guys think (after all, I would like the help of some of the school, because it does represent the school)?

Let's get school colors > biggrin .

I vote Black, Gold, Brown, and Red, since that's what Rel wears. x]

As for symbols:

Gold(obvious X))
Angelic Halo? (the single symbol of Godlioness on gaia burning_eyes )
G-Blade cuz' KH2 is just cool. XD
Cranes/Birds?

Maybe you should put a coin in 2 of the 4 sections on the sheild. Diagnol from eachother. Then a trade symbol in the other 2. Katanas in the back of it, One of the Kings crowns on the top and some golden laurels enlargened on the sides.

just a thought.

you know, something like a gold and silver intertwined with twisting vines and branches made of gold...just brainstorming here...or maybe a vending cart, like te ones they had in the medivel ages.
