Welcome to All Bark, No Bite. A literate Naruto roleplay that has been resurected time and time again in the Gaian Roleplay forums, only to die once more. Auron, a loyal member from the very beginning, suggested to me that posting the Roleplay in balance would be in it's best interest. So, with his good advice, here I am.

All Bark, No Bite is a Literate to Advanced roleplay based off of a story of my own. Yes, it falls under the Romance category, but who's to say that we're not allowed a little action and battle? Primarily, we need the main characters and our Mist Nin. But, just as important are the villians, who play a key role in the plot.

The Hidden Village of Leaf and the Hidden Village of Mist have been at war for years. As a way to resolve these problems, it was agreed that prearranged marriages would be set up between newborn children of the Leaf Village and newborn children of the Mist Village, never to be told until the day of their sixteenth year. Now, the time has come. The Mist Children are being brought to the Leaf Village to meet their husbands and wives to be. Things will surely get off to a rocky start, and some couples may not get along. But is it possible that love could blossom before they are wed?
However, there will be no time for a happily ever after just yet. What would a story be without a twist.. Or two...
Little do the people of Konoha know, these Mist Nins, part of a plan for peace between two warring countries, are also on a mission. They are using the title of "prearranged marriages" as a cover, when really, all they are here for is to act as infiltration agents. While Konoha thinks the relationship between the to countries will grow strong from the joining of children from each village, the Mist see this as an opportunity to bring Konoha to it's knees. The day that all of the Mist Nin reached the day of their 16th year, they each recieved a message, delivered personally by a Mist Anbu. They were told of the mission to destroy Konoha while they were to be pretending to act as a living peace treaty. As well, they were told that no one was to be told. Not even their families.
So, they were trained, prepared, and shipped off to Konoha, via jounin escorts. Following behind, unknown to anyone other than the ten Mist Children, are High ranking Ninja. They have been given the mission of watching over plan as it slowly unfolds, and the Mist Nin have been notified to report to them once every week. However, unknown to any of the Mist Children, these ninja have been assigned another mission.
Who's to say that love can or can not be prevented. The leaders who hatched this plan of deception and lies are very wise, and know that anything could happen. Although they all see love as a very foolish thing, those who have been betrothed are young. There are chances that one - or more - of the Mist Children should perhaps change their mind on being willing bring about the downfall of Konoha. However, should this happen, the elite Mist ninja - who have come along to lead the young men and women from within the shadows - have been given other orders...
...Kill the Mist Nin and their betrothed.
Now, it's your descision. Do you continue along with the mission as planned, and spare not a second thought for the peaceful village that you are working against to overthrow? Or will you, perhaps, find a way to fall in love with this person, whom you have never met and are so suddenly engaged to. The fate of Konoha is in your hands.
