Do you think the war in iraq should continue? I myself think that the Prez should take the troops out of the war. i think that the people in Iraq should handle their own affairs.

This is a hard for me. On one hand it would be lovely to be able to walk away from that illegal war, it would be great to be able to just leave it to the Iraqi people. But sadly our country can't just walk away from it. We are now in a position where we have to finish what we already started.
After all, we kicked out and killed Saddam, if we left it would be anarchy, and nothing would be accomphished since the different groups (Most of which are based on background, and by beliefs) would keep killing off each other.
I'm no fan of the war, I'd rather see it end, but right now our country's military can't leave without something worse happening later.

i think it should stop COMPLETELY!
i don't want to say anything wrong but the troops have to leave Iraq!
it's not there place and they have no right to do anything there!

and as everyone knows...
when they have problems from the INSIDE they shouldn't interfere and say they WANT to stop it..
i know they wnat to make it grow bigger then they will just kill them and say they were getting out of hand..
this is what i think anyway...

i think that bush made the wrong move going into this whole war but now i think its to late to pull back because we are to far in. i think that iraq would take that as a weakness and try to make a move and attack america again. but then again i cant talk in im a military school and i plan to join the army.... sweatdrop

personally i think that movie was just a bunch of crap to get people in to thinking that there was a consiracy going on

Our world Geography teacher said that we are over in Iraq because we think that the people need help to get back on their feet after they lost their leader. I think that we are helping them because we beleave that they are in danger of followers of their previous leader. Even though their previous leader was a bad person their are people who still follow what he made them beleave. I think it is just putting our soilders in danger and that we should leave before the Prez gets us all killed.
However on the other side some American think that us being in Iraq is a good thing. I may not agree with them but they do have their own opinion.

no matter what the reason is no one has a right to go to a country just for a reason like that!
it's like your telling me that my dad is a bad person but when he died i followed what he taught me so you just came and lived in my house without asking me!
this is not right if you ask me... stare

I totally agree with you it is I was only stating what other peoples opinions are. I agree with you I dont think it is right for someone to take over if they think you cant handle something. I was only trying to open up to other peoples thoughts. People are sometimes confused with what to think about something but i have a verry strong opinion and i have verry strong religious backings on where I stand. I base my opinions on my relieion. I dont know if this is right but i do. i have a verry strong religious family who backs me up and I dont want to let them down.

Like I said earlier, it's a war that should've never started, nor been continued, but since we are there, and since our influence has been WAY too great there (In ways tht are both good and bad) our soldiers can't just leave without something worse happening, like the extremist groups fighting for power and overthrowing with feeble attempt of a government they currently have in Iraq, and of course the fact that Iraq would literally be in a chaotic anarchy (Moreso...) if we decide to leave immediately BEFORE helping them sort everything out.
