Madison slowly walked along the path, arm in arm with Silver, shifting her gaze across the area, surveying her surroundings. Sarin, a large black panther, mother to a black panther cub in her room, followed the two of them, staying far enough behind to not upset the moment.
"My Lord, what are you thinking about right now? Is there something troubling you? You're not still on about those theives, are you?"

Her gaze locked with his as she turned to face him and Madison tilted her head ever so slightly to one side. "What else is troubling you? You may be King, Sire, but as your Queen, if it is to do with the kingdom, I have a right to know."

Cocking a brow of interest, Madison took Silver off the path and sat down on a large, semi-flat boulder hidden by trees, vines, and assorted greenery. "Why is your brother a member of this band of theives? And more importantly, if he manages to get past the gaurds, I can't promise Juno and Kenji will not devour him like any other intruder...I can only have them gaurd against intruders, and if your brother is with the band of theives and they make it inside...there will be nothing to distinguish your brother from the others in the eyes of my pets."

"I know, that's why I'm so worried about him. When we were young, we decided who would be king in a sparring match. I won. In anger, my brother fled the kingdom and joined a band of theives. He's been in the business ever since."

Madison leaned her head down against Silver's shoulder with a gentle sigh before speaking, "Let us just hope your brother is wise enough to stay away from our kingdom. Is he aware of me being your new Queen? I mean...does he, or anyone else know what I am? The only two, besides you, Sire, are Velcor and Alara, that I know of anyway."

"Alara saw me in the village the other night when I brought Mallor to the castle, and Velcor knows because I told him. Perhaps having your brother not know what I am will prove to be of some greater benifit if he and the theives choose to attack us. There had to have been a reason for you choosing me to be your queen besides me being great in bed, aye, Sire?" Madison couldn't help but crack a joke to lighten the seriousness of their conversation. Silver had no reason to be worry. The kingdom would be safe, one way or another. She smiled softly and placed a kiss upon his cheek, at the corner of his lips.

"Yes." Silver said smiling. "I just hope he chooses to avoid here. If he attacks, I'll have to treat him just like a theif, otherwise it would be injustice under the law. Brother or not, he would be a criminal. I don't want to have to punish him."

Madison emitted a faint purr, much like that one of her pets would make while nuzzling into Silver's shoulder. "Aye, and where would this kingdom be if its King didn't keep to the laws?" She smiled softly and lifted her dull grey gaze skyward, through the branches of the trees overhead. The sky was lit up with the twinkling of billions of stars. She seemed to lose herself in the sight, having never really taken the time to look at the stars since she was released from Hell. "They're beautiful..."

Madison lifted herself from the boulder and stepped out onto the path, gazing up at the stars above in a state of awe. The sight was amazing, even beyond her imagination. For once in her immortal life, she felt so small and insugnificant compared to the vast open sky. Her grey eyes shifted to the silvery hue of the moonrays and her long raven curls rustled gently in the night breeze. With the faint mist forming around her, the pale moonlight caught the mist, giving off the illusion of silvery, translousent wings draped behind her.
