PvP Battle!
The Dementia Vs. Cuore Scuro
Rules
Normal RP rules apply. Ship versus ship rules are as follows:
First, all members of the crew roll one and only one 10-sided die within the usual 24h limit. (Do not roll multiple dice, or roll multiple times)
After the limit has expired, the rolls will be added up and divided by the number of rolls to find the average roll (AR).
After the two or more ARs are found, the ARs are multiplied by a number depending on the ship you are on. (See the info topic on RP battles for Ship Multipliers.)
Once both scores are tallied, the ship with the lowest score will lose the battle. Booty will be given to the winning side depending on the ship that was defeated.

The Cuore Scuro spies the Dementia long before a surprise attack can be made, and turns about sharply to avoid giving either ship the chance to fire a broadside. The two ships head straight for each other, looking as though they will collide, but at the last moment necessary adjustments are made to bring the ships alongside with barely an armspan between them. Shots are fired, but before long the grapling hooks are secured and the melee starts.

Isaac Teneck - Cuore Scuro, CaptainCaptain's Hat +10
Cursed Pirate - 1.5x Dice Roll Isaac smiled, the enemy ship was comming, and he would get to dye the ocean red with the blood of their enemies. Isaac ordered his gunners to fire the cannons at the enemy ship, and the rest of his crew to kill as many of the poor bastards as possible.
Isaac swung his blade at the oncomming enemies, ejoying the screams of the people he injured, and laughing at the thuds and splashes of the dead bodies. His blade quickly was stained red with the blood of the humans he was able to hurt and the humans he had killed.

Rachel Williams - Dementia, Master-at-ArmsAncient Pendant +2 Rachel looked at the enemies on the other ship, "What the hell are those things!?" she yelled, their features were so strange, could these have been the ghouls that Gabriel had mentioned to Katherine before?
It didn't really matter, though this was obviously going to be a tough fight, and it was likely that some people on each side would die here. Rachel drew her blade, and she also drew Nigel and began slashing at the strange creatures, as Nigel complained about getting all bloody.

Gabriella Montez - Dementia, Second MateN/A Gabriella was amazed at the strange humanoids on the ship that Katherine had ordered an attack on. They didn't seem to be fully human, but they didn't seem to be of any race that she had heard of. This was definately not good, without real knowledge of the enemy, the Dementia didn't know how strong these beings were.
A strange ghoul that appeared to be part wolf lept at Gabriella, and she quickly reacted by slashing at it with her puny dagger. The ghoul lept back, and looked at the gash in it's arm and began to growl at Gabriella until leaping at her yet again, however this time one of the ship's boys crept up on the ghoul and hacked it's head off. "Thank you..." Gabriella said to the boy before turning back to the problem at hand.

Gabriel Lecroix - Dementia, CraftsmanN/A Gabriel left Wren and ran to the battlefield, he was shocked at the enemies that the Dementia had stumbled upon. It was the cursed beings that the legend he had read earlier was about. He was shocked that they truly existed, though he was also glad that Katherine was proved wrong.
Gabriel drew his Dagger, and readied himself to attack any of the cursed beings that may be around. He set his eye on what appeared to be a girl, yet she had some features of an aardvark, he ran towards the girl and slashed at her with his dagger. The girl was able to avoid his attack and jumped away from Gabriel, however, the girl had jumped onto a part of the railing. Gabriel ran towards the girl yet again and she lost her balance, the girl fell from the ship into the water below.

The Dementia

Jonathan was only momentarily surprised when he noticed that the enemy crew were... not-human. This passed quite quickly, however, as they bleed and die like any other creature on Earth. Having skill in the musket from the days of being an Ensign, the Englishman quickly loaded and took aim at one of the freaks who could fly, the most dangerous threat to the crew of the Dementia as they could remain out of harm's way of a cutlass. Taking a shot, Jonathan quickly ditches the long barrel without waiting for confirmation of a hit and takes up arms with his dagger, knowing that a battlefield reload in a melee is suicide.

Dementia
Fawkes Fowl - Fighter
He could had swore that it was a dream... Or rather, a nightmare. On the enemy's ship, he saw humanoid beings that have human features, but animal features as well. There was something about them that stroke fear into his heart. Maybe these were the 'cursed' pirates that the captain was warned against? If so, he had no choice but to fight.
He had no intention of dieing here.
Grabbing his sword, he ran towards the deck, winching a little as he saw more of the strange beings coming on board the Dementia. This was going to be a long battle... He hoped that Rabbita and Aurora would come to no harm; these beings look really dangerous.
As one of the creatures leapt at him, Fawkes slashed out his sword, cutting him at the side. Blood glushed out from the wound as Fawkes gave a weak smile. They will still die, no matter what they are. Just treat them as stronger humans.

Will Welkin - Cuore Scuro, Rigging RatCursed Pirate - 1.5x Dice Roll Watching Scrap vanish into the bowels of the Cuore Scuro, Will quietly set his mind to battle. Cat safe, rat and all idle talk forgotten, he called Weasel up from the depths of his mind with what felt like a shrill whistle.
Weasel, me old messmate...it's time. Let's show 'em who's cursed and who's blessed!
The beast understood. Killing time. Rising to the surface, it melted into Will's consciousness like so much treacle - dark, viscous, so sweet it burned - and imbued his seven limbs with unnatural speed and dexterity. A savage grin, half way to a snarl, spread across the pirate's face.
"Some rats're gonna die t'day..." he hissed, catching hold of a rope with three arms, taking up one of his pistols in his free human hand. "Weasel, me old pal - tonight we feast on meat!"
With a running jump, he swung across to the other ship and fired his first shot. He didn't see whether or not it hit anything, but the fierce joy of battle was enough to wring a triumphant howl from his throat nonetheless. This was it. This was life. This was where he belonged.
Then he hit the deck running, and everything was the madness he had craved for so long.

The Dementia
Alexandra was slumbering in her small hidey-hole when the shouts and the firing of the weapons jars her out of the pleasant dream she was having. She knows those kind of sounds from anywhere as she instinctively pulls the dagger out of her boots and ran upstairs into the melee.
She was momentarily taken back by the sight of non-humans spilling onto the ship she have called her own home. She automatically sought out Jonathan and smiles slightly as she could see that he was ready. But her distraction almost cost her own life, she swiftly ducks as a ghoul-like creature swung the sword toward her head. She lunges forward toward the ghoul with the dagger, intent on injuring the ghoul badly or just outright kill him.

Cursed Pirate - 1.5x Dice Roll Valentine Crane: Cursed GunnerDoing his work as Gunner, Valentine was doing most of his work below deck at present, part of the gunning crew working to pound the Dementia savagely with cannon fire, though he openly longed to pound her open and join the fighting. He was praying for a hole to open below the water line, something he could swim through and drag people down through, so he could roll through the water until they stopped twitching for air, to bite and savage things, but he didn't have that luxury right now. Right now his cannons would have to do his biting for him. Sink the Cuore Scuro's teeth into them instead of his own.
