It had been nearly ten years since Mallor had been brought into the royal household as the adopted orphan under Queen Madison's care. The child seemed anxious for her upcoming birthday which was only a day away. Mallor had grown so much since she was adopted, and despite having no blood relation to the Queen, the little princess carried many of Madison's physical characteristics.
Mallor couldn't wait for her birthday party, but she had no idea of what her mother had planned for that night. Little did the quiet, innocent, sweet child know, her own mother planned to remove her soul and replace it with a demonic spirit which would permanently turn Mallor into a demon.

Mallor entered the room silently with her arms folded across her stomach. She wanted her father to be there to comfort her; to tell her that the bad things that hurt her would pay for what they did and that he'd make sure they were all killed off. But alas, King Silver was not to be seen. Her birthday was that night and she hoped everyone would be around to celebrate it.
