Many odd events had come to pass on the grounds around the temples, for Tangia the light temple had particular significane, being that it was where she was believed to have fallen out of as she tumbled down the mountain. But that was all in the past. For now her wounds had healed, leaving only the faintest of scars, and her mind had aged far beyond its years.

And yet as she stood on the grass, staring up at the mountain's peak with a glazed look over her pale eyes, it felt to her like the day she had first sustained those injuries. "Ayame.." she mumbled, wondering if perhaps her sister would have to take the same tumble into redemption that she did. Everything had its reason, that's what the priest at the family's church had told her. So what was her reason for coming here? To tell the truth, she didn't remember how she had even gotten there.

((it says orp so I guess it's okay for me to join?))

Veive had wondered away from Ice yet again, tired of her Guardian never wanting to go exploring. She kept peering over her shoulder, sure that Ice would be there running after her sooner or later (curse these short legs) but it seemed that her dissappearance hadn't been noticed yet. Good. That gave her more time to wander and find something interesting, like a new water source. At that thought the little kitsune stopped for a minute, almost horrified. Water source? After all the bad things she had ever been through with water, why did she feel such a connection to it? And why was it that her connection in this world was with the Water Temple? Surely she had lost her respect and admiration that she had once had for it...hadn't she?

Looking around she tried to find something to distract her toddler mind from those distressing thoughts...that was something to think about at some other time, right now she was supposed to be exploring and having fun. Her eyes caught the slightest of movements so she moved in that direction, hoping desperatly that whatever it was would take her mind off the water. As she got closer, Veive noticed another Illusion looking up a steep mountain. The illusion appeared vaguly familiar, as if from a very long time ago but she couldn't place a name so she walked over and stood next to the other girl, looking in the same direction. "What's so interesting about this mountain?"

Ayame held her self upright, her little hands braced against a small sapling as she slowly wandered away from Lavi, drawn by something that surely, by the feeling s she was having, held as much significance as the stub of a red crayon she clutched in her hand. Lavi dozed in the sun, head propped up on a bag with ayames chosen possessions for the outing, unaware as The little butterfly girl distanced herself.

Ayame toddled along, losing her balance and flopping over in the grass here and there, each time drawing herself up with determination and poutful anger at each fall. she began moving forwards again, only to off balance herslef once more. aggravated she fluttered her wings slightly and found that, although they did not offer much help it was better then nothing as she barely regained her footing. With time the sea of grass parted at the hill top to show not too much farther away two others, ones whom she did not recognise. she drew up her courage and , with a pouting face at the apparent distance, turned to slowly slide herself down the grassy hill side towards them. She didn't like going down like this as it tussled her skirt and more often then not dirtied them, but if she went on her back it pushed uncomfortably on her wings. the lesser of two bad feelings, although when lavi found her again she might be scolded for dirtying her clothes.

She kept herself from bawling as she lost her balance and received a mouthful of grass and dirt for her failure as she slid to the bottom of the hill. spitting out the dirt and wiping her face she stood and, biting her lower lip, turned to face the two new figures, now no more then a doezn feet away. Was this where she was being drawn to, or was it beyond here?

"I fell down it once," she said to the girl whose voice seemed somewhat familiar, "That's all." She turned to face her with a bit of a smile, tossing her curls back over her shoulder. Recently, the bunny girl had grown more accustomed to talking to people. Her attention only sticked to Veive for a moment though, because suddenly she heard the rustling in the grass. "Eh?" she asked, slipping back into her normal tranced state as her eyes locked on Ayame.

Veive raised an eyebrow skeptically at the girl as she talked. She had definatly met her before but probably before she had grown. Her eyes moved over the girl's almost frail form as she processed the words. "You fell down it...?" Her stare moved to the mountain and her gaze became ever more skeptic. She seriously doubted anyone could fall down such a steep slope and live to tell about it but she kept her mouth shut. Most would probably not belive her past life story so she had no right to question this illusion about hers.

Veive's ears perked at the sound in the grass and as the bunny girl slipped back into a trance, Veive slipped out of her own. Turning to face the girl, her nose sniffed the air, trying to figure if she had met this girl before too and if she did...if she would at least remember this one.

((Is this before or after our PRP Lavi?))

[before and I think i have a way to make things make sense between this rp and our's, i'll work towards it near the end. ]

Ayame stood up and walked slowly closer, This was definitely where she was supposed to be...She wasn't sure how she knew but the moment she locked eyes with the bunny eared illusion something clicked and the nearly sealed doors to her past nearly broke open, some very small catch preventing her from being overwhelmed in a gush of old memories.

Ayame came within a few feet of the two, though only one even held her attention, locked in a gaze with this screamingly familiar illusion...who was this...what was so important that she could bring herself to focus on naught else and yet not know why?

She stepped closer, timidly, and reached out a hand, edging it forwards towards that oh so familiar face that lacked a name or meaning.

"Ay...ame...is..me....Ta-"

She couldn't find the words to finish, and had she not been so focused surely she would have spoken better, but that mattered not to her right now.

"Once, when I was very little," she mumbled, though most of her attention was on the younger illusionary. Her mind was a bit fuzzy at seeing this girl, for her eyes and hair reminded her of.. Well.. Herself. When the younger girl spoke, her eyes glazed over. "Ayame.." Instead of taking the girl's hand, she rushed forward and dropped to her side, wrapping her arms tightly around her, "Ayame, it's me, Tangia. Oh please forgive me." Though there was desperation in her voice she didn't shed a tear and seemed almost unable to.

Veive was had turned back to the mountain, lossing interest in the infant quickly, but she jumped when the girl she had been talking to ran to the other. Watching carefully, she looked at the two and tried to figure out what was going on here. First this strange girl tells her that she fell down a mountain, and now some little girl appears and she runs over to hug her and ask for forgiveness? This was definatly strange. Feeling out of place, Veive thought about leaving and giving these two girls some space, but for some reason she felt like she should stay. So, she simply countinued to stand there and watch the girls curiously...eyes and ears alert with her head tilted slightly to the side.

[*NOTE!* My next response post is Ayame's dream post as well, As soon as I have a chance to discuss things with Dulcea, i will make that post!]

The little butterfly girl looked down in amazement and then slow realization as hints of the memory waiting to burst forth drifted into her mind. Tangia, that name meant the world to her...but the world of meaning hid at minds edge, however enough creeped forward to give her the realization she needed.

This was her sister, one she had done something horrible too, something she had done in jealousy, and she knew the crayon in her pocket had some still unknown meaning in these actions....

She couldn't hold her tears in as these little things bundled up and dawned on her. Ayame fell to her knee's, muddying her dress, and wrapped her little arms around her sister, and cried into her shoulder. She nodded, fiercely, into her sister's shoulder, wanting to ask the same question yet between the tears and her shock she couldn't bring her mouth to move, so she did the only thing she could and held on to her sister, crying her heart out and nodding into her the whole time. She was back with her sibling, away from whatever had caused the two such trouble in the past....

And a door to her past strained against that which held it shut, fragments of memories leaking out....

Tangia clutched Ayame to her, running her hand over the girl's hair to try and soothe her. "Shh," she whispered, squeezing her tight. Almost forgetting there was someone else there, she glanced up at Veive, expressing some emotion that she seemed to think the somewhat familiar girl was responsible for this reunion. "It's okay Ayame," she added, burying her face in her sister's hair once more. It was odd, that they would be so similar despite hardly ever seeing one another. But she wasn't complaining. She was glad to have her sister back.

In a flash alot occured to her, her last memories, namely. What struck her hardest was what she had done to her sister, who was now holding her as they both let loose their tears. She gasped as it dawned on her and she pulled her head from her sister's shoulder and looked down, shaking her head in dismay and terror, only to begin half incoherently babbling apologies in gaian and Illu.

The worry in her eyes but the gratefullness for her sister being with her again...alive...and the memory of the passing of her own...and here now, with Lavi, with so many others...but foremost her sister...

"Tangia...i'm so sorry...I didn't want to...i didn't mean..."

She couldn't continue, she found herself sobbing again. the words clarity came foremost from her new found memory. Ayame sobbed and onyl stared down at her sister, her lips moving without sound as she conintued to try....

Tangia closed her eyes, growing cold as she connected with Ayame's memory. The scene played out in her head, and the actual words her sister was saying only played in the background. As the image faded out a few tears slid down her cheek, not for the pain she remembered feeling, but for the girl that now seemed to feel so guilty. "Ayame," she started, feeling for once her own voice shaking, "I love you. Promise me you won't ever go away again."

Ayame shut her gaping mouth, her lip trembling as she nodded, tears in her eyes, at her sister. "You never go again either, Sis. Never fight again...we're sisters...twins. I love you too."

She fell to her knees and hugged her sister, still crying slightly, but a smile tugged at her lips, thankful more then the old gods could guess.

"We share our next birthday, sister?" She pulled back with a hopeful smile, her breathing calmed as she looked through her ruffled silver hair, damp with both their tears.

"We'll share every birthday," she promised, showing a smile that despite her sincerity, still seemed distant. She reached her marked hand forward to brush Ayame's hair into some semblance of order, eyes fading to a slightly lighter shade of pink. A thought tugged at the edges of her smile, but she managed to push them back enough to keep it there. Letting Ayame go, she lay back in the grass, calling her red butterfly Olieiv from where he had come to rest by the side of the mountain. "Meet my sister," she offered, pointing him toward her though she knew the butterfly had already recognized her. He was afterall, conjured from her memory.

Ayame smiled at her sister, and although she was introduced to the little butterfly, her attentions soon fell to the other girl whom she had rather ignored in her reunion with her sister. She smiled meekly at the girl as she sat down beside her sister, wanting to giggle with joy.
