In all truthfulness, you guys have got to agree that this is a pretty big question in our fandom. This is to help our F.A.Q too. I know that, if not all, but most of you, have had the chance of seeing the haters' comments out there. So this is where we discuss this..

Why do people hate SasuHina so much even though it's what they call a 'crack' pairing?

It's the SasuSaku, NaruHina one that seems the biggest to me.

Many People who're fans Naruto, as I'm sure is obvious, have uncanny loves for SasuSaku and NaruHina. And they refuse to see any other pairing involving any of those characters, crack or not, in a good, or even neutral, light. For those people, it's SasuSaku and NaruHina or nothing. If it involves those characters, even if it's a simple crack pairing, it's horrible. They refuse to embrace the fact that it's called a crack pairing because it doesn't have or hardly has, at this time, a chance of happening. Doesn't matter to those haters-of-SasuHina. That goes for most, not all, fans who only ever like canon pairings and only ever stand for canon pairings. That goes into anther issue, though.

Canon only.

Similar to the above, but this goes for all anime canon. A good deal of anime fans will only ever stand for and see canon pairings. You just can't put someone else with a character. Makes no sense! Everytime I check out a popular SasuHina AMV, and read the comments, half of them are saying the same thing. "How the heck did you get SasuHina?! Haha! Hinata belongs to Naruto." or, in some Inuyasha AMV's showing the pairing InuyashaKikyo, which isn't even crack, half the comments are, "Inuyasha belongs to Kagome! Kikyo, that BEEP, should jump of a bridge!!" Because KagInu seems more likely (Which really bothers me). Crack pairings are crack pairings, and make no sense. But we'll just blame these types of fans thought process's on confusion-- Can't expect them to understand anything that isn't put into bold print right in front of them!

Those are the two biggest for me, yup.

for the same reasons people hate GaaHina. They prefer to have the person to themselves

i didnt know people didn't like this pairing. i understand rocklee and gaara...

I agree with most everyone else here. Many people say that they have nothing in common and stuff but really, they're both quiet people and honestly Sasuke can't stand Sakura. Besides, Ino and Sakura both move on later in the series and don't crush on Sasuke. Hinata admires Naruto but I believe she'll move on from him. She'll always love his fighting spirit and look up to him but she only has a crush on him.

Sasuke is the last remaining Uchiha and Hinata is from the Hyuuga clan. Her father wants to get her out of the way for Hinabi to take over so why wouldn't he want her to marry a guy like Sasuke? Gets rid of her without disgracing the family.

If you can't tell, I DO NOT LIKE Hinata's dad. He's a jerk, and he's cruel to her!

Ah yes..there it is. The one I've been looking for.

Also, since most are SasuSaku and NaruHina fans they think it'll brake those pairings apart.

SasuHina probably is, if not, the or one of the most, hated popular crack pairing there is because of the reason that it has both Hinata for NaruHina and Sasuke forSasuSaku.

And besides, I do think that Sasuke and Hinata have more in common than Sakura and Naruto ever will.

Lol, it's good to know that a sasusaku/naruhina fan admitted something like that.

Also..it's alright lol. You don't have to like sasuhina in canon-verse, because I know you aren't the only one.xD A lot of of sasuhina fans like it as crack and not to go any further than that. SasuHina really is a crack pairing, and all of its fans have yet to see any kind of interaction, so it's natural to believe in it at only crack-verse. And since you really are sxs/nxh shipper at heart..I understand perfectly well.xD

I see that the most popular reasons have already been said..But think there's another.

I'm sure some of you have heard this reason:Omg people just made SasuHina up so that it wont interfere with NaruSaku !111!!!11

For some reason this reason just makes me want to hit a wall. Yes, I agree that a portion of sasuhina fans may have became fans because of this particular reason, but I hate it when they just outright accuse the whole fandom with it. I didn't become a fan because of it, and I know that others didn't either..

When they say that they make it look like sasuhina just popped out of people's heads without a good reason behind it at all. Well, I think sasuhina has hella great reasonings all around it.

i've never heard anyone say they hate the pairing... but that's just me

Arguments I've come across and my response to them:

~ NaruHina, SasuSaku, & SasuNaru: Don't get me started on these.

~ NaruSelf & Sasuself: This isn't even a valid argument.

~ They don't look good together: Whether they good together or not is an opinion.

~ It's impossible/never work/don't click: says who? Unless you are Kishimoto, you can not say it is impossible, would never work, or they don't click.

~ They don't talk:...okay, you got me.

~ They don't know each other: no one is certain of that.

~ If they were together, Hinata would comit suicide:...the hell?

~ I hate Hinata:...

~ I hate Sasuke:....
