I just heard from one of my friends that Tales of the Abyss is goingto the Wii and that Namco is making a sequel of it for the Wii called 'Tales of Harmony" OwO

Oh, this has been spreading around the namco forums too.. Ugh, it's so not true. It wouldn't make sense for them to do a remake and/or sequel so shortly after the initial release.

Eternaldusk Oh, this has been spreading around the namco forums too.. Ugh, it's so not true. It wouldn't make sense for them to do a remake and/or sequel so shortly after the initial release. That sounds like the rumors for a Tales of Symphonia 2. Those rumors make me laugh a bit.

They have done a sequel before to... One of the Tales games, I don't remember which. And now I wonder how well that went. ^ ^"
I'm going to doubt this rumor of a sequel to Abyss is true, though. Unless of course, Namco announced something about it.

Genbu no miko Marie They have done a sequel before to... One of the Tales games, I don't remember which. And now I wonder how well that went. ^ ^" Tales of Destiny-->Tales of Destiny 2 And you can possibly say that Phantasia is an indirect sequel to Symphonia.

But....If they made another Tales of the Abyss game, they should make it a different ending. Like, you can be the God-Generals or something and in the end, Van wins or something XD

Well...Katamari Damacy's sequel came pretty fast after the original XD Besides. What would the Abyss sequel be about anyway? Or a prequel, set in the Dawn Age? Me dunno.

Yes, that's correct. But I meant timeline based. It seems that there are several references in Phantasia like the tree's name, Martel, the world that became afterwards, and so on.

It wouldn't really be like a sequel, if they wanted to use musical terminology I guess it'd be called an 'overture'. But I think they'd call it a special if it played out like that. XP
Don't get me wrong, expanding on the God-Generals being the a main point of the game would be very amusing to me. It'd be enough for me to buy it. Running around killing stuff as Arietta or Sync sounds dementedly fun. Fangirl indulgence~ X3
Sadly, if it somehow worked out Van was practically the main character... I really wouldn't want to play as him. It'd be sad to see his percentage at the end of the game. Er, could that be a consideration for them not to make a sequel like that? Judging from the most hated character thread. Oh well. ^ ^"
