HammerFall is my favorite power metal bands without any question of a doubt. I bought my first album from a Virgin Records in Glasgow, Scotland when i was visiting the UK. It absolutely blew me away, i had liked power metal before but this completely shocked my system. It kinda gives you the feeling of wanting to take over the world with heavy rifts and chanting-along-chorus'. I highly recommend them.

Hammerfall is by far one of my favorites. You can't say 'Power Metal' without thinking of Hammerfall. My favorite songs are is 'blood bound' and 'threshold'

I dunno, i still think my favorite is Hearts on Fire. Crimson Thunder was an epic album.

Arwald Stormshadow i adore hammerfall. without a doubt one of the best bands in the world They are good, i woild say the best power metal band for sheer "take over the world" agression. But the world? Hmmm i guess i nevere really thought of what the nest band in the world is.....

I have recently heard them and like why I have heard. Other than Crimosn THunder are there any other albums that you guys would recomemend to me.

I think Victum would reccomend their latest release, i believe he said it was really heavy and he enjoyed it alot. I really respect his opinion so i would advise you on his word alone to go check out the album.

Indeed dude. Chapter V: Unbent, Unbowed, Unbroken is a very dynamic album, with a sound more like Heavy Metal than Power Metal. Now if you like the epicness of sing-along-gregorian-like choruses try their latest album: Threshold.

It would probably be whoever the lead guitarist is since I really am a sucker for good solos and riffs.
