2-17-YEAR 4
1300 Hours
I sped through the darkness, my trench coat flapping behind me as I was pursued through the night. I had lost contact with the GIB, and had been running from a shadowy organization who presumed I knew too much. My gray eyes gleamed beneath the thick lenses of my shades as the car pulled out in front of me. I leapt forward as the door opened, agents pulling out their weapons. Sliding beneath the vehicle, I leaped up, my legs pumping as I continued my escape. Moments later, a loud boom was heard, as the headquarters I had just escaped from exploded. The heat of the flames singed the hair on the back of my neck. I was lucky to have made it out when I had. Shouts were heard behind me as gunfire went off, I, being the target. A bullet slashed through my shoulder, red blood spurting from the wound. I put a hand to the shoulder as I continued to run, not daring to stop. I had to make it back to the GIB. I had to make contact. As I ran, I could feel the sting of the wound, feel the blood trickling between my fingers. I was slowing down. When I turned the corner, thinking I was home free, Something jabbed me in the gut. I felt a surge of electricity jolt my body, then all went black
Agent Hunter looked up, his eyes trying to focus. His head was pounding, and his wrists and ankles were numb. Looking down he realized why. He saw he was strapped to a metal slab table, his arms and legs held in place by clamps. He looked around the room as best he could, seeing two blinking red lights in the the left and right corners to the front of him. Security cameras... He thought to himself, his vision beginning to clear. He could feel blood trickle down his fore head. He had probably fallen and hit his head after he had been knocked out. He heard static, then a distorted voice fill the room. "Agent Hunter, at last you are awake. We know it was you who infiltrated and destroyed some of our most closely guarded HQ's. We know that you came across some important files, and we want them BACK." Hunter could hear the menace in the man's voice as he spoke the last word. No matter what happened, Agent Hunter would never tell them where he had stashed them. The information was too valuable. Too important.
