OMG I can remember riding my bike to the penny candy store, buying one of these necklaces, draping it around my neck and riding home. THen playing the day away as I had the dang thing in my mouth -- YUCK it got all dirty but as a kid you ate anything! LOL

Anyone else remember these?

actually, last year one of my friends was running for student council and she gave out candy watches and brackelets and necklaces XD
I think they look cute <3 lol
and I found it really funny how they have brandname candy jewellery XD just like, Barbie and stuff ^^;

Yup, first year of high school every male in my year did that. (There was a cornershop nearby)

I used to love those when I was a kid, but by the end of it you've just got a spitty piece of string round your neck.

Ahhhh yes, the candy necklaces.
They were great....
The best memory I have of those is when wearing them for so long on a hot day that when I took it off (or ate it entirely), the colors that were all over my neck from it.
You just can't beat that.... Of course mom always saying "head to the bath tub" was a classic too.
Guess going to school the next day with a rainbowed-colored neck was out of the question !!!!!
