My name's Kate, but my appelido is Barbie. My instructor Sapo thought is was funny, cause I'm blond, skinny, and giggly. I didn't get the worst of it though. One of the new guys, short and asian, got Mr. Myagi(from Karate Kid). I'm sixteen, soon seventeen (wooh), and very sad. I haven't been able to get to my classes lately. School has been busy (now finished), and my class is also all the way across the city. Bus rides are unpleasant...not to mention that I play soccer, and I have bad knees. At my last soccer game, I got elbowed (I dunno how) in the knee. Its now very swollen.
But anyways, as I mentionned, I play soccer...I'm very busy. I do capoeria with Capoeira Ache Brasil. Our mestre is in Vancouver with another part of the group. He also has groups in Japan and Brazil. I enjoy capoeria for the pure movement. I like to dance, but I hate hip-hop and all that jazz. I also like to learn new things. I recently bought a berimbau, so I look forward to playing it as soon as I get it strung sweatdrop . So, thats me!

Salve! My apelido is "Falador". It means "Talkative Person", I was given this name by Mestre Cabeludo because at a recent workshop he did for our grupo, I was asking lots of good questions. I am currently with a brand new Capoeira group called "Grupo de Capoeira Dende do Recife", training under Contra-Mestre Azeitona. We have one branch in Nova Scotia, Canada (the group I'm in) and Ontario, Canada (Contra-Mestre Fabinho's branch of the group). I currently hold Yellow/Lt. Blue Corda, which is the fourth out of sixteen levels in our system. I have been studying Capoeira for about 5 1/2 years.

'ello, my name is Alex. I live in Indiana. I am studying Praying Mantis Kung-Fu and Sho-Run-Ryu Karate. I've been trying to teach Capoeira to myself untill I get my lisence and can drive myself to a nearby school. Other than that my life is pretty boreing and uninteresting.

hi, im Michael Noire, I've had an off/on interest in Capoeira since eddie met tekken, somewhere in the 1990s. I've decided that sometime in the near future, I will have to seek out a master in my area to study under. Right now, I've been exploring various martial arts styles, and am most comfortable with Aikido at the moment.
ive also had interests in Taijutsu, Tai Chi Chuan, Qi Gong, Muay Thai, and Shaolin.
Actual experience in use was Karate and Jiujitsu, the non brazilian variant that everyone raves about. I've a passing familiarity with Krav Maga, and recently met a teacher of Kali/Arnis in our city.
I prefer circular over linear motions, and believe in music, spirituality, and enlightenment. The most important virtues to me are Truth, Choice, and Charity.
Things I'm opposed to include Hypocrisy, Nepotism, and Egotism. My three favorite religions are Judaism, Vishnite Hinduism, and Mormonism. My least favorite philosophy is Nihilism.
one of myt favorite Books is the Bhagavad Gita, asside from that, probably a Manga called "Ah My Goddess".
Favorite Comic book character was Adam Warlock from Marvel Comics, favorite Movie character was Paul Moadib from Dune. I figure that's enough for now.

Hey there, I'm Koiyuki, Cap'n of the IPG and interested peson on the art and history of Capoeira. I've studied break dancing for a while now and have recently learned that the origins of the sport can be traced back to Capoeira,so I've deicded to investigate. I'm also interested in becoming a part of a Capoeira class as soon as i can find a class in Cali, and somewhere close to where i live *is near Long Beach* In my spare time i write for my book and my webcomic, and i also keep the IPG in tip top shape, making sure everything runs at a relatively smooth pace razz At any rate, i hope to lezrn more about Capoeira and have fun here.

well , my name is Raquel and i'm 15.my friends call me kekel or keka.i'm brazilian and i live in Rio de Janeiro.i would like do play Capoeira .it's my culture ,but i don't have time because of my school.i have to study hard.so, some things about my life. 4laugh
