Since at least a few people here are practicing different languages I tought it would be fun to get together and talk to each other in our languages. Each person can say what ever they want (as long as it doesn't break any of the rules) and then on the line below it translate what they said. This way everyone will know what everyone is saying and we can all learn a bit from it as well! Please keep in mind this is slightly serious so don't make up random giberish and try to pull it off as another language. Keep true and respect you languages, but most importantly have fun!!! whee

This isn't about what languages you hate or like, it's to help everyone keep their languages fresh in their head and hold conversations. xp

One thing I have noticed, one of the most popular words on tv.. well in real life Japan actually, is probably sugoi (wow) They say it all the time.
ex: Japanese person: "Amerikajin desuka" (Nihonjin), (Are you American ?")
Me: "Ee" (yeah)
Them: "Oh sugoi" (Oh wow)
They may even say sugoi two or three times, I swear they're like the easiest people to impress.

I love it when they say it, it reminds me of the seagulls from finding nemo that say "mine!" Also in anime when the main character unleashes his true power, and the support characters all wanna say it, but only the young warrior says it, admiring his idol ninja

That is pretty funny. I don't really know from experience because I haven't gotten around to watching my anime in Japanese, but hopefully I'll get around to it soon.
