Gambino Marketplace The marketplace in Gambino is nothing short of a glorified strip mall. The stores are arranged in a row, with a sidewalk in front. Strip malls are typically developed as a unit and have large parking lots in front. They face major traffic arterials and tend to be self-contained with few pedestrian connections to surrounding locations. Here, one can find seasonal beach clothing, as well as gear for surfing or other 'fun in the sun' activities. The Gambino bank can also be found here, as well as numerous upon numerous of Gaians hawking items for sale or trade in homemade stalls. Some like to call it the world's largest flea market.

After stuffing his hands in his pockets Gamma made his way through the maze of sidewalks and streets. Had to be a convenience shop around here somewhere.
He also wasn't worried about people staring at the mask. Because Gaians were pretty ******** weird, themselves.

"Wait, you dumb b*****d!" Eustathios could not help it, the group mentality for which he had been raised upon usually overwhelmed it. He had been taught to fight side by side, as well as in singular combat, but his people often chose to fight together and not alone. The man walked briskly, but not even close to run, towards the other who seemed intent upon finding something upon this mass of people.

Feelings of unleashed loathing built within Miles as he walked along the side walks of the city. While he personally wasn't an example of fine taste in clothes for where he hailed from his clothes were still practical.
Money, he needed money though if he were going to buy anything and his stomach said it could use something to fill it.
Would be best to pick one of the odder individuals. One of the ones that looked as much hampered by their clothes and covered by them.

Totally ignoring the shouts of his teammate, Gamma didn't slow down.
There were cigarettes to be bought.
Until people came fleeing and freaking out. All the average cat demons and ninjas and angels flocked away from something.
"It better be a giant cigarette." Which wasn't far out of his mind, especially after being attacked by a giant ghost made from fabric.
He meandered at a walking pace opposite the direction of fleeing townsfolk.

Hrm, he had heard the commotion as well, something about shield and a** kicking. Quickly taking hold of one of the spears upon his back he pulled it down to his side, and swung it front of him, it would act as his battering ram to get everyone out of his way and clear a path. Eustathios followed Gamma to where the obvious disturbance had come from, so early and already a promising battle, well he hoped.

Well that was a tad annoying; before he could steal anything people were stampeding, wasn't that supposed to happen after he killed someone for their money?
Either way he saw his team mates move off in one direction and began to make his way through the crowd. Grabbing at any purse that came within grasp as people ran into him and around him.

The clouds broke their thick cover over Aekea, and with it the pale, silvery light of the moon shone down over the developing city.
It seemed especially large and full tonight. The light of the moon was almost bright enough to read by, if you had sharp eyes. All in all, a strange occurance, but not too strange considering the land of Gaia's usual occurances.
And with the pale moonlight, he appeared. First just a smile that seemed to mirror the cresent moon, shining with a silver light of its own. Then the eyes, large and bright. Soon, the rest of him started to form. Lithe, short, clothed in nothing. He wasn't human, his skin seemed to be made of some strange, inky blackness. Vaguely humanoid, he was still lacking obvious parts. Like toes. His feet just one solid mass.
No hair on his head, nothing at all on his head but those pale eyes, and that crescent smile. The eyes darted left and right, taking in the surroundings of the marketplace. The smile inverted almsot exactly, turning into a frown shaped like a crescent moon.
"He is not here..." His mouth didnt' seem to move, but the words clearly came from him. If possible, the frown seemed to grow in size.
The creature started moving among the storefronts, peering in windows, glancing around any and all corners.

"Right. You have any cigarettes on you, Miles?" Something about a group effort murder made Gamma a little less prickish towards his teammates. Brotherly, homicidal bonding, and all that.
Gamma kept his left arm bent at the elbow as the chainsaw casing rode high on his shoulder, with some two feet of toothey maw sticking out over his back.
His suit, that black and grey pinstriped suit, was surprisingly in one whole piece. There was bloodstains up to his elbows on the jacket sleeves and he'd get a faceful of blood if he started up the chainsaw again as it was.
There was no real intending direction to Gamma's walk. He was looking for some crappy convenience store to buy decent cigarettes.

"I could offer you a light; but not a cig. Saw those at one of those weird merchants that are about here. There's so many of them it doesn't make sense; but he was trying to peddle something called Menthols, saying how they where lighter or something."
With nothing to do but walk and look around it didn't really matter if Miles talked a lot; besides it was idle chatter. Looking up and down the street he just drifted, eye balling the odd ones that where wandering the streets.
"Damn people here are so ******** queer."

The creature dived behind a car. It was night, not many people were out. Well, excepting the Random Vampire that seemed so commonplace. But even they were mostly in their bars and clubs, rather than walking the streets.
He was the only one anywhere near the car he had chosen to hide behind, an old, beat up, junk heap of a Dodge Dart. The thing smelled heavily of leaking deisel, and there was probably a spill the size of Gamma under that car. At least.
He poked his head around, to stare at these strange people, his crescent frown pointed right at him as his pale eyes switched between Gamma and Miles.

And Gamma stopped. He was walking by some trashy car that was leaking fuel and couldn't help but notice something sticking out from under around it. That thing sticking out had eyes.
"The ******** was standing off to the side of the car by a few feet. Facing down the road with the direction of the car itself, just with his head turned to the side. Gamma lifted his mask a bit to peer out from under it, because he wasn't sure what he was seeing.
Edited because I'm starting to lose the ability to read.

"Just what I said, ******** queer."
Though this one was one of the oddest. Gamma may have been wearing a suit and a theatrical mask; but this was just odd. Almost odd to give Miles a shiver saved he had grown dead to seeing weird things.
"Why can't I come across anyone normal."
Even if he wasn't normal himself.

The creature scurried out from behind the craptastic car. Black skin, the only bright features on it the crescent moon frown and pale eyes. It moved low to the ground, squatting and walking sideways as it approached Gamma. It didnt' seem to be armed. At the very least, it didn't have any visable weapons. Nor did it seem to have any place to hide weapons.
The creature reached out towards Gamma's left leg, poking at the strange armor there slowly, cautiously, with his right hand.

((No armor. I had Opaj replace all that. Just a fancy suit now.))
Nuh-uh. No sir.
It'd move towards Gamma, and he'd move the ******** away from it. Personal space, etc etc.
"What the hell is this?" His hands were both held high with his left on the chainsaw and the right on his mask. A couple steps out of the way to match the squatting steps of Monsieur Tarslick.
Cause grease stains are a b***h to get out of expensive suits.
