Beachfront Properties

Gambino is where the rich go to vacation, and this is where they live. Lavish buildings with expansive sunroofs, each with its own dock or section of the beach. Probably perfect for looting.

Grounding his spent cig into the pavement, Tokai glanced around as he lit up a new one. This place is the first to fall, he thought as he beagn to look around for a man fitting Legart's description.

Tien hissed past his cigarette as the condominiums came into view, sending a thin stream of smoke into the air. He opened his mouth to speak (an impressive feat while keeping the smoke perched upon his lips) when a ringing came from his jacket pocket. He cursed once as he drew out the device and flipped it open and snapped something in Chinese into the receiver. A pause.

"Oh, it's you... where?" Another curse. "Uh, expensive houses, lots of fat white men, next to the beach. Alright? Good." He closed the phone and dropped it back into his pocket. "The mafia is heading after us. Probably got lost looking for us." He looked again at the buildings and seemed to think for a moment. "So where are we headed? Do we know where these..." he seemed to struggle to say the last word, "marbles are or are we headed somewhere we can find out?"

Legart's S-Class drove up a few minutes after the call, stopping not fifty feet from Tien and Tokai. Legart turned off the car, looked over his shoulder to check for otherwise nonexistent traffic, and stepped out, gently closing his driver door as he headed toward the pair.

He didn't wave, he didn't give any sign that he recognized them beyond a passing nod as he lit up a cigarette, snapping his Zippo shut and dropping it back into his pocket. As he came within five feet of them, he spoke quickly and to-the-point.

"I was late. Things happened. Now let's get in the car and get the information for this job. You two have employers to please, and I have business interests to maintain, so let's try and do this without a hitch."

Turning to Tein, "I was looking for the other guy, but now that i know hes back there I just want to finish walking down here before we go to the fist place, besides I got a feeling that there maybe something down here." *Switching to madarin* "Besides, if there isn't anything down here we can roll a couple of these rich ******** for some fast cash while we wait for the mafia man." With that said he continued on his merry way towards the turisty looking place. Upon Legart speaking he turns around and gives him the once over. Exhaling a plump of smoke upwards Tokai responds, "Fine." Walking over to the car, "I get the back seat for the leg room.

"I don't think it's necessary for a Mafioso to ask a Triad to maintain a business-like demeanor. I plan to do my job and am fully prepared to do the work of others. So you'll notice that I'm not even going to complain about sitting in your German-made vehicle while I trust my life to your driving abilities." Tien said, eyeing the car all the same as he circled around toward the passenger side. There he paused, looked at the four door, then at the six and a half foot Tokai. "I think it would be best if I rode shotgun."

With that he opened the door, lifting the back of his jacket slightly, and sat down. "So where are we going?"

Getting in the car Tokai took a little time to stretch out. After getting comfortable he Leaned forward from the back seat and pointed towards the touristy looking parts in the distance, "Go over there first I need to pick up something for someone."

"At least I'm the one driving--there is no force on Earth that would make me turn over that duty to either of you in this car," Legart retorted to Tien, blowing out a thick whisp of smoke as he got into the driver's seat.

"We're heading to the boardwalk. We need to meet up with the other people in this faction. They'll effectively be our co-workers, but really I don't see why we should extend them any real courtesy beyond the perfunctory," Legart said as he pulled on his seat belt.

"Mr. Tokai, if you so need it, you can pull down the middle armrest of the back seat to reach some guns in the trunk. There's a shotgun and an assault rifle in there, but save the grenades for me. Mr. Tien, there's a pistol in the glovebox--I unlocked it earlier today. Both of you will find reloads in the same places if necessary."

With that, Legart waited for the two to get in before he started the car and headed off farther into the beach.

"Oooh, an asian driving joke. How quaint." Tien rolled his eyes before opening the glove box to find this promised firearm. "At least you came prepared. I thought someone was going to be waiting here to provide us with equipment. It's like they're trying to kill me." He mumbled, apparently forgetting his seatbelt as the car began moving.

"This place is perfect for looting." Aiolos declared, looking at the deserted streets. Seriously.

Well, the oppertunity did present itself. He'll just storm the rich people's homes and take whatever seemed useful.

Aiolos looked at one of the houses, no activity, didn't seem like anyone was home, there wasn't a sign that said it was protected, even though that could just be a lie.

You know what? Whatever, these people were ******** rich, they'll just replace anything he steals.

With that, he threw a rock at the house's first story window, an alarm went off, but that wasn't about to stop Aiolos from climbing in.

A homeless man wandered nearby, dressed in layers upon layers of gray coats.

"Doohicky fer sale! Get yir doohicky!"

Adam snickered as Aiolos began to loot the house, but decided to let the man get on with his business. He quickly rolled and took cover in a series of bushes outside of the house, deciding it was best to stand watch, seeing as how some authority would likely show up. He Reached behind himself and drew out his AK-74, then held it at the ready, hoping he would get the chance to nail a Gaia cop between the eyes.

There had to be a reason for Aiolos to loot this house. Oh yeah, rich people spitted on him when he lived on the streets. He was getting revenge on everyone, wasn't he? First Gwees, now rich people.

That, and it was fun. Especially the secret porno stash, he took a few magazines from underneath the four poster bed. After that, he took a 24 karat gold zippo lighter, seemed valueble, shiny too. Hmm, what else could he fit in his pockets?

As he stood watch, Adam began hearing odd, slightly slurred shouting coming from somewhere further down the street. He turned to look, and saw a man walking around dressed in many layers of gray coats. Likely a homeless man, he though. He ignored it, than noticed that he was selling a "doohicky". Possibly a marble, Adam thought, physically smirking at the chance to finally get one of those things. He tossed his AK over his shoulder and stepped from the bushes toward the homeless man. He kept his hand on his sidearm just in case, though. It wasn't about to let himself fall to some little trap.

"What's this doohicky yer sellin', man?" He stated in a inquisitive tone, hoping he would see a marble in response.
