Ladies and gentlemen, due to a bout of spontaneus shopping, I have JUST procured myself 5 new books to add to my collection:
The Wayfarer Redemption - Sara Douglas Eragon - Chris Paolini Ship of Magic - Robin Hobb Ship of Destiny - Robin Hobb Mad Ship - Robin Hobb
Now what ticks me off is I just found out the Chapters affiliate lied to me. She told me that The Liveship Traders Trilogy was the first saga, because I like reading from the very first book, even if none of the later books correspond with the previous ones (I love spotting old references, I'm such a kid).
In any case, I'm starting with Paolini's book, as hypocritical as that sounds coming from me and will be doing a chapter by chapter analysis as an omage to my overbearing, purely assumed, movie driven hatred of Eragon.
The next time I'm at Chapters I'm going to buy the Farseer trilogy, so don't freak out Leavaros, I will read the first saga... first.

Don't forget the Sword of Truth series, or the Wheel of Time series. My faves.

The funny thing is...I was about to freak out!
I actually read The Liveship Traders Trilogy first, because the person who told me said it would make more sense. She was wrong, but I'm still happy that she told me about Hobb to begin with.
Go, Demon, go! Read Farseer, buy like the wind.... Or me on a really good Saturday.
Vale, and have fun reading! -LD

Yeah, next time I'm out I'm going to pick up Farseer because they're actually pretty cheap and I want to complain to that person for misleading me.
Is it so much to ask that sales reps be honest? And if they don't know the answer then just say they don't know and maybe ask someone else? Granted Chapters, well any book store for that matter, is huge and one person can't be expected to know everything about each book. But I jut don't like how she either guessed or lied, I'm not going to stop buying books because you don't know the answer.
Oh well, cheers to redundant sales theory,
the Demon

It's one of my favorite series'.
