Alarai waited nervously at the door for Reign to arrive. She had told Papina that they were going shopping and that she had wanted Papina to contact Reign and Isdra to see if either of them would look after Luna while they were gone. After all, it was best if she had one scroll child look after another since the older was more likely to know what was going on then someone who wasn't a scroll child. So Papina had contacted Reign first, and after quite a chat, she told Alarai that Reign would do it, thus why Alarai was waiting so nervously. After all, not only was she not certain if Papina was telling the truth or not, she also hadn't told Papina what the were shopping for. She wasn't quite certain who would be more embarrassed once they started shopping, but she knew that it had to be done regardless.
Luna was standing behind Alarai, one hand gripping Alarai's pant leg to keep her balance as she stayed upright. She was sucking on one thumb and kept staring at the door, having been told someone was coming to keep her company.
Papina was in her room, trying to figure out what to wear. She was hoping to meet some cute guys there, sure, but she was mainly trying to figure out how to keep certain parts of her from... well... shifting as she moved around. She was currently torn between her favorite outfit and a slightly more modest outfit.

Reign was watching mailbox numbers as her mother slowly drove down the street. "There it is," the chimp girl informed her mother, doublechecking the address she'd written down. Yup, this was it. "Thanks, Mom!"
"Call me when you're ready for me to come pick you up!" Niki told her daughter as Reign hopped out of the vehicle. The chimp girl waved an arm, which the mother took as confirmation that she'd been heard and turned around to drive home.
Reign walked up to the front door and pressed the doorbell, a bit nervous. This was the first time she was babysitting a kid besides her twin brothers. But, it was Papina's little sister and the ivy girl had said something about the kid being a scroll kid. That meant it wouldn't be too hard... right? After all, no kid could be worse than Aiden.

Alarai quickly opened the door and waved for Reign to come in. "In! In!" She did a quick check to make sure Luna was still inside before quickly shutting the door once Reign was in. "You know what to do, right?" Papina yelped as she heard Reign arrive and quickly chose her favorite dress and struggled into it. She hopped out of her room towards the door while trying to finish putting on one boot. "Hey Reign!" she said happily. "Thanks for taking care of Luna for us." She finished putting on her boot, and after gently pulling Luna away from Alarai, started shoving her mother out the door. "Later Reign! Have fun!" She finally finished shoving Alarai out the door, and started to pull her towards the mall. Shopping was so fun! Alarai managed to call out one last thing before Papina had dragged her too far out, "There's a list on the kitchen counter telling you what all to do!"Luna blinked once silence finally decended and slowly turned to look at Reign with wide eyes. Reign quickly stepped into the house, hardly having any time to notice anything about it. She quickly nodded in response to Alarai's question and waved at Papina's sudden appearance. Then, in a flash, they were both out the door and Reign was left alone with the little girl.
The chimp girl smiled at the moon girl. "Hello. My name's Reign. Yours is Luna, right?" She was pretty sure that was what Papina had said. And the mom had said something about a list... She'd have to look at that in a little bit...

Luna took a moment to suck on her thumb before nodding at Reign's question. Yup. She was Luna alright. Her eyes were caught by something just behind Reign and she toddled over to check, her steps unsteady. What was that thing sticking out? Neither Mommy nor Sister had one of those! She reached both hands out towards Reign's tail, going "Ah. AH!" as she tried to grab it to figure it out. She had nearly reached it when one of her feet slipped and she started to fall, her hands still outstretched towards that fuzzy thingy...

Reign peered over her shoulder to see what the little girl was looking at. Oh, her tail. The teen grinned at the kid's antics, then her eyes opened wide as the girl started to fall. Her tail quickly moved to catch the girl and at least slow her fall, if not stop it. At least the girl wasn't too heavy.

"EEEEEE!!!" Luna managed to grab hold of Reign's tail as momentum carried her under it. Still, she managed to touch the floor lightly, causing her to simply giggle at the fun ride. She gave another squeal of delight as she realized she had hold of the tail and hugged it close to her, wondering if she could catch that tip and stick it in her mouth. "Oooo?" You never know if something would taste good or not until you tried! With that thought, she tried to grab the tip with one hand and shove it in her mouth for experimental sucking. Now if only she could do this with the funny thing on top of her other sister's head...

Reign was relieved that the girl was okay. She was even giggling, so that was good. The chimp girl was debating on how to get to that list in the kitchen when Luna managed to succeed in getting the tail tip into her mouth. Reign jumped a bit as the tip of her tail suddenly got wet. "Hehe... that tickles!"

Luna squeaked as Reign jumped, having yanked the tip of her tail out of Luna's mouth before she could decide if she had wanted to try and bite down or not. Well, that was a fuzzy experience, one that made her realize that she was hungry. "Hah hah?" Luna questioned when Reign said that tickled. She rolled onto her stomach before she had to spit a few loose hairs out of her mouth as she got up onto her hands and knees. Some munchies sounded good right about now, so Luna started to try and get to her feet to walk to the kitchen, wondering how she was to get to the cookies this time. Maybe she could get her furry sister to help. After all, she hadn't been told what not to do. Time to try out some of those 'real' words. "Yum yums?" It took only one time for Luna to plop back down on her tush before she gave up on standing and walking and instead started to crawl towards the kitchen.

Reign smiled down at the little girl and nodded. "Yes, ha ha." Briefly wondering how old the girl was, the chimp girl caught the next thing the girl said. "Yum yums? Oh, you're hungry?" Hey, good way for her to get into the kitchen! She walked into the kitchen and picked up the note, wondering if it mentioned anything about what the girl liked to eat.

Kitchen Note Luna Do's and Do not's
1: Do give her snacks often. She get hungry a lot. There are several baggies in the fridge that contain snacks she can have.
2: Do not give her cookies, despite her love for them. Not only will she figure out where the cookies are, she will try to get hold of the cookies from then on and always eats until she gets sick.
3: Do try to put her down for a nap roughly every two hours, and make certain that she gets her afternoon (12-1) nap for sure.
4: Do not let her outside. She explores constantly, and is likely to find someplace you cannot reach her, no matter what you do.
5: Do call if something comes up that wasn't expected. ((Papina's cell phone number here)) Luna was looking around for cookies when she saw Reign looking at something. She pulled herself up onto her feet with the help of a nearby chair and turned to see that Reign was looking at the list. Her face fell. Badbad. Now she had to be even more sneaky in looking for those cookies.

Reign scanned the note. Hmmm... approved snacks in baggies in the fridge... naps every two hours or so... stay inside. Not too hard. Reign put the note down and went over to the fridge and opened it. She spotted the baggies and picked one up. "Okay, Luna. Yum yums." The chimp girl spotted a high chair and lifted the girl up into it, making sure to fasten her in before putting the tray on and dumping the contents of the baggie out for the girl.
((*is assuming Luna would have a high chair* XD))

((^^; Actually, it's Papina's high chair, but since she doesn't need it anymore...))
Luna was all happy to be put in her high chair and given yummies... until the contents were spilled out in front of her. Celery again? With no peanut butter even? She was about ready to cry when she spotted a lone carrot half-hidden under the celery and she pounced on it gleefully, giving a squeal of delight as she held it tight in one hand and stuck an end of it into her mouth to gnaw on. At least there was one yum yum in among all the uck ucks...
((*EE forgot to add that different baggies have different foods in them and both EE and Alarai forgot to add that there is baby food in one of the upper cabinets* ^^; Heh.))

Reign watched as the girl's face fell at the sight of the food. What was wrong with celery? It was one of Reign and Ala's favorite foods. She watched as Luna gnawed on the one carrot that had somehow ended up in the baggie of celery. She could get another baggie out... but if this was one of the things that she was allowed to have, then Reign wasn't going to get another baggie out. Besides, the girl probably wouldn't eat the celery then...
Maybe... An idea came to Reign and she picked up a piece of celery and stuck it into her own mouth and chewed. "Mmmm... yummy!"

Luna blinked and looked up at Reign as she munched on a piece of celery before the moon child made a face. "Bleh." How could anyone find that yummy without PB? "Uck uck no even 'ave PB." Celery without peanut butter? It was like the moon without the sun. Besides... "Me 'ad uck uck just before." It was the best she could come up with for yesterday. Didn't her furry sister know she was suppose to have nummy orange 'carrot' things today?
