I definantely think 24 would go downhill without Jack Bauer. The show centers around him. Anyone disagree?

i mean i thought it wouldve happened after season 3 with Chase and everything, but it didn't happen..

He's become our main character, the one who managed through times when we had other main characters...He's the rock of the show. Without him, it'd drown. Most people wouldn't see the point in watching it, because they love to see how he gets out of things. He's the hero, the newage Superman.
If Batman died, would anyone watch to see how Robin handled the bad guys? Not many.

nitnit Jack's the whole point of watching 24 domokun Jack is the center on 24, without his would Chris go out and kill the bad guys? NO! He would sit on his fricken tush and whine that there is nobody to save him. Jack is the meaning of 24, it's like taking away the mouse from the cat. The cat wouldn't have anything to chase, therefore the cat would get bored. If you took away Jack the show would be CRAP! BULL DO-DO!

Jack IS 24. Without him, the show would have no plot, no point - they'd have to replace him with someone else of equal value. Without him, I wouldn't watch the show. I haven't seen Keifer in other movies, I'm a newbie when it comes to him and his roles, so I can't say I've followed him throughout his career. But all I know is that life without Jack is pretty dull.

now.... at the end of this season, we may be faced with the end of Jack Bauer. Most likely this is the last season. Who knows. But according to the news, Jack will have a prodigy. I don't know how I will respond to a show with a new "Jack". He will be sorely missed if this is how the show will end up.
