Finally got my hands on a scanner, so yay! Got a couple of things uploaded, but only a couple cleaned up so far. And only one Im going to post right now, one of my favorite right now, and most inspired. (By sublime, my new big inspiration.) Theres a bunch of stuff wrong with it, but thats a-okay. I veeeery rarely make backrounds, so this is a step up. even though shes kinda too big for it. Anyway, enough talk!

Gotta add a little sepia hue, you know?

ohhh, i LOVE the shadings!! and the background!! i cannot do backgrounds at all... the face could use some work.. body proportions too. XD;;

I know the face is a little off, but thats actually progress from the shapes of my older faces rofl

I like the character... but the bg is just a bit off, that's all. Some lines are either not precise/straight when they should be. Nice... I like the "slums" look to it.

@ burning light: Yes, you are correct. But I'm only finally starting BGs, so I guess tons of mistakes are inevitable. Yeah, she is smoking. heh. I suppose it reinforces the point of the piece.
