Everyone has several lives they lead on a daily basis. Personal, social, professional, sexual, they all make us who we are, and any distinctive excess or lack in any of those areas, can nearly instantly characterize us.(nerds not having a sexual or personal life, and valley girls lacking any real professional life, according to stereotypes) This follows us from the days of our youth, into adulthood, and beyond. What I want to know is, what, exactly, should be done, to achieve harmony between the seemingly disparate worlds our lives encompass? Does, or should having a career, or children change that at all? What of yourselves? In what balance is your life in?
My way of living, is rooted heavily in knowledge seeking, and expression, and everyone I've met so far, has been as result of that. I desire to live as full a life as I possibly can, so I strive to attain this balance, and maintain it, for as long as I can. Seeking wisdom has improved my personal life, which in turn feeds the skills I need for my professional life, and sexual. Unfortunately, I haven't got much of a chance to let my sexual and social lives be very active. sweatdrop

What's the difference between personal and social?
As for where I am, I think I sort of tend towards professional, maybe. I freak out in social and sexual situations. But, I also like to consider so much about myself, who I am, etc.

Then, I think I've been 'groomed' into personal, but, recently I've been trying to get more into social.

I suppose I need more professional balance since I'm still finding my direction. Right now, I feel lost at sea. This is the first time in my life I haven't been able to "feel ahead" with my heart, i.e. get an idea of what the future will hold within the next year or so. I want to go to school, but I can't detach myself here, and I'm still waiting to be able to start making films which could take me far or no where. *sighs* It's a very stressful time, but I do believe the rest of me is in balance. I'm still growing, so I've ever changing personally. However I have always given a lot of thought to who I am and what I believe.

I have NO idea what I'm going to do in life, which is just fine with me. But I do definitely have several different sides to me. I have yet to find what my sexual personality is like, but if it's anything like my social personality it's...interesting.
I think it's fine so long as you don't let any one of those personalities take over your life and keep you from functioning properly.
