What can I say? The Plot, the Headtrips, the Mecha, Misato Katsuragi, PenPen the mightiest Penguin of them all. Quite possibly the greatest anime of all time. Opinions?

There is alot more to the series besides giant robots once you get about halfway through it.

I've only seen a few episodes, but my boyfriend's been watching it since forever. He's super excited they are making 4 new movies. He's rather obsessed with Rei Ayanami, and said that if I ever dressed up as her for any type of A-kon, I'd never get any sleep. rofl 4laugh

I love the series. But I didn't quite get what was going on in the last two episodes. I mean, I understand the philosophy of it all, and I think that was awesome? But, what exactly was going on in reality?
