Earlier today, I was in English class, and when I looked out the window, I saw the A-wing courtyard. But the whole class went berzerk when someone spotted a hawk ( I think it was a white-tailed hawk ) sitting on a railing in the courtyard. We were supposed to be discussing the Cask of Amontillado ( It's one of Poe's short stories ), but we wasted a lot of time gawking at the bird.
Have any of you ever had an experience like that, where a wild animal ventures extremely close to you or someone else? I just thought that it would be an interesting subject to talk about.

Ohmygod, ducks. xD I knew people from work last summer that worked at the lakes. They would swim under the water to try and catch ducks. Sometimes they were sucessful.

The most wildlife I've seen in the city I live in are raccoons. I once saw a HUGE one just hanging out on the sidewalk. It was weird though because it was a sidewalk in the deep city in a college neighborhood. You'd think a college frat kid would try to mess with it or something. :p
Plus I've seen a family of 5 raccoons just running around the apartment complex I used to live at. That area is a little more woodsy so it made sense to see animals there.

So right now I'm in Animation class, and it turns out that our teacher found a wounded Canadian goose on the side of the road. He is, right now, in our class, and I think it's growling at us. o_o
