And I used the money from that to buy a cheap pair of shorts and a tank top. And I later bought some sandals... That's what I suggest. Don't take my word as creed though, do what you want to do. About gold....... The ways you can make gold are: *Posting or bumping... posting is better! *Voting in polls *Voting in the Art Arena *Buying things that go up in value (i.e.-donation letters) and later selling them *Selling art, breedables, or other things that you make *Start scouring the Marketplace for bargain items. Sometimes you can get lucky and win a bid on an item that's less than the sellback price! That's it from the corners of my brain. What do the rest of you have to say?

I agree with P.A. 3nodding When I first started, I sold my peasant stuff and scrimped and saved to buy a simple pair of jeans and a basic shirt. And then later I bought some shoes. Later on I sold that stuff to get other things I wanted...etcetera, etcetera.
Best advice I can give is if there's something you want that's at the stores, check around the Exchange to see if someone is having an inventory sale and selling the thing you want for cheaper. O_O Happens all the time, and I've gotten some incredible deals on already cheap stuff. blaugh And because I tend to be nice to people, I've even had people give me some cheap things they were selling along with something I already purchased from them (and of course I would never ask or hinted for them to do so). ^_^ Kindness goes a long way.

That i do! ^_^ but now i only have like 47 gold haha so much for saving up for that car thingy sweatdrop ...maybe tomorrow ill draw something and see if anyone wants to buy....err...ill need your help with that though

See, I did the opposite that ya'll did. When I started Gaia, I was in LOVE with my rags. I refused to buy anything, even the gloves and boots until about three weeks later when I went out an bought an gothicy outfit with the 3k I had saved up at the time. My advice to the person is do as you wish, so long as you are happy. ^_^

I think that's pretty much the way every gaian starts off. I know that's the way I did. Anyhow, Heya there Princess! Remember me from the Shadow Angels Guild?
