H.A.M. (Honorable Association of Merchants) is a guild dedicated to keeping prices at reasonable levels. How many times have you seen a recent donation letter go for over 5k? Or how about a newly released item sell for 11k a piece?! It's insane, I tell you! It has to stop, and the only way for that to happen is for the (admittedly few) decent merchants left out there to band together and refuse to fall to the inflation. That is the essence of H.A.M.
