Hey, the drunken one has chosen to speak..
This being an RP forum, people are gunna wanna RP. Here, in other forums, or on instant messaging programs, or chatrooms. I do it all, personally.
I think it'd be kinda schweet if everyone posted thier RP experience, maybe a favorite character. Let's get to know each other, so we can set up some good roleplays everyone would be into.
As for me, I roleplay everywhere.. Started in AOL, moved here, went to AIM private rooms.. I've ran multiple groups, and actually run one now. http://z6.invisionfree.com/712th_DSR/index.php? Link, if you wanna peekabo at it..
As far of types of roleplays, I LOVE action. Violence is good too. The bloodier and more extreme, the better. Which probably disqualifies me for most of the roleplays here..Of course, I like comedy, too. And random is nice. I've roleplayed a cat-and-dog chase. Most fun i've had to date.. Settings.. I like technology [I build computers and work at Radioshack while i'm not here] and i'm abit of a Sci-Fi freak, so I like me some futures. I get my times where i don't want to see any technology, so i'll do some medieval roleplay.. Not too big a fan of modern, however.

Action mrgreen Fantasy mrgreen Horror mrgreen Romance mrgreen Yuri 4laugh
um... yeah... the Rp can be funny but not realy stupid stuff happening over and over again thats just N00B-ish
Also the Type of Rps i prefere are as follows
Starwars
Mixed Race = Neko/Demon/Angle/Vampire
Timeline = Present, Past (MedEvil), Futare (like 2050, 2700, etc..)
School = a school for 'special' kids with 'powers' etc...
you know the type, normal Barton town RP's

Hm. I'd spill my guts out, but I'm afraid that doing so might be a little painful, so I'll stick to typing things out if no one has any objections. =^^=
In any case, I too started on AIM (the crappiest InuYasha RP ever, but we shall not go into details) and then came here. To Gaia. And yeah. That's probably it. I ran a role-playing forum that was connected to my school's chorus forum, but that lasted a hot minute, so I suppose that's barely an accomplishment.
I'm pretty much into anything with a good story line. Things will have general themes (like girls getting trapped in a mansion of guy vampires), but there are so many more layers to stories. It's like a song. ^_^ Sorry. If you haven't figured out, I'm a chorus freak. heart Love to my fellow singers! : P
Lessee. I love medieval role-plays (I get to wear a Renaissance dress at school, so Renaissance in fun, too), as well as near-future (too far into the future confuses me -- too much technology makes my head hurt) role-plays. Again, present day RPs aren't too fun (hello, we live in present day...), but if we throw in some mythical/fictional/etc. beings (or strange situations), it's all good. ^^
In short, I RP to get away from life. Sounds weird, but I know I'm not the only one out there! blaugh

I'm Sebastian, but you can call me Seb. I'm a major Sonic style RPer, that's followed by Digimon and then Pokemon type RPs. I've done quite a few others in the past that were pretty darn neat, Magical/Mutant powers I'll do aswell.
I'm not into much of the real stuff, Family RPing is pretty as far as I'll go in realistic RPing. I'm pretty loose with that rule though...
Anything more personal you can PM me or something about, that's where I tend to let loose and show you just how much a retard I really am, at least insane maybe.

Hello fellow people of being in the guildness. I am by whatever name you have chosen to call me but I shall use the new nicknames I have heard a lot recently.
I am Sir/Mr.Waffles, conquerer of the muffins and negotiator of the bacon. I have come to help my friend Badgy and become a cookie eater as the cookie monster would have done until he was turned into a veggie eater. I started my RP experience in an IRC and those were part of my best RPs ever then after coming to this place called Gaia and met Badgy in another RP.
I can mold into any RP as long as I have a basic knowledge of it >,> and.... I think.....donuts ared good....>,> I have most recently been RPing as an assassin in a weird plot twist crazy RP one-on-one. I Mr. Waffles, conquerer of bacontonia and ruler of pancakia, wish all a fair wintereenmas because it is upon us in a few weeks! So grasp your games for the week of the gamers!

Anyways..I'm Naru,[well of course that's not my real name.] I like most types of Rp's.But I like action the most. I recently came from another country. Call me an Asian!! cool I'm kind off new here so please just understand when I make mistakes. sweatdrop If you don't, I have a hired bodyguard that I can always call to beat you up horribly! eek I mean bodyguards!! [Even though I don't pay them. twisted ]
I have recently been playing as a ninja named after an Anime character..Well sometimes I do some obvious little changes. Unfortunately my mom had to ban me from playing in the internet [but still,she's thinking that I am still playing in the nternet] during weekdays.Well except for Fridays.I had to give up rping and all my stuff I decided to give away.[I didn't even know that I gave some stuff to one of my bodyguards. Bodyguard,you know who you are.Please return my stuff.] Well,that's me I change my mind a lot. I think I'm also the youngest in here..Hope not!!
I'm a fan of stories that has sad endings.You know..you think it's a happy ending.The main character(s) celebrating then some odd things happen and they die in a really bloody manner. I love it!!
Oops!! I think I don't have any guts left.. gonk
