I'm in my 3rd year of harvest moon and was wondering if your baby could become a child. The baby is one year old now and I'm hoping that I won't have to deal with this (goddamn crying &#%^er) baby forever...

I've never played that game but I know that in the others it does grow up.

i have the game and the book for it, i beilive it does grow up, mine is a baby now but havent played it in awhile i cant remeber but ill look when i get the chance and post again

I don't think it gets beyond toddler in MM. I haven't played much past the birth (I got HM DS whee ) but I believe I saw something about it not growing up.

I looked on Wikipedia, and it said the baby will be able to walk...
That's all I can find.

i was in the 4th yr and the child will get his own room and will be able to walk around town by himself so yes the baby state will stop

My baby's walking already but everything else about him is still the same.
He barely walks.

In MAGICAL MELODY, the baby learns to walk, and then stops growing. It just stops there. It does NOT become a child, it does NOT walk around town. It stays at home and cries and stuff like that. I'm sorry, but it never grows up~
As for a child walking around in Year 4...you're probably thinking of A Wonderful Life or Harvest Moon DS~

Ya, about that...Unlike AWL, the baby does NOT grow up. He grows to the stage wher he can walk and say simple words, but besides that, he stays little forever.
For this reason, and this reason only, I like HM:AWL much better.

I don't believe that is gets any older than the toddler stage... at least that's what my sister says. That reminds me, I accidentally gave my baby boy a girl's name. sweatdrop

No, sadly the baby dosn't grow up. It's the only bad part of the game.
