Flarn's Appearance Flarn currently differs in appearance from the other Zurg, in both his avatar and ship design. His avatar is pale white, and resembles a hybrid between a Zurg and a Gaian, with Zombie thrown in for good measure. [Evidence found in profile]His ship now resembles a smaller version of the mothership. [Evidence found in his ship's profile]Flarn's Behavior Flarn used to be, arguably, one of the friendliest of the Zurg. He often interacted with The Believers, and even had a relationship with the mod Yuzi_K. Evidence of friendliness: [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] [x]Evidence of his relationship with Yuzi_K can be found in this thread. However, he has never gotten along very well with the GIB. Evidence: [x] [x] [x] [x] [x]Family Trouble His "family" didn't approve of his relationship, and he went into hiding. For a while, his "family" went around looking for him, trying various tactics. Evidence: [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] [x]During this time, some of the Zurg pretended that 09 did not exist. [x]They also often claimed he was sick. [x] [x] [x] [x]The search culminated with great emotion, as 06 and 11 confronted Flarn in the Believers' thread and threatened to hurt Narf (02) if he did not cooperate. [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] Unwilling to let his sister get hurt because of him, Flarn finally gave in to their demands. They arranged to meet somewhere else to take care of things in private. [x] [x] [x]The Death of Flarn This meeting was not a peaceful one, however. 06 and 11, enraged at their brother, shot his ship down. They scanned the remains, and it was confirmed: Flarn was dead. But as they leave Flarn's broken ship lying in the dust, a shadow falls across the scene... Mother has found her lost child. [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] [x]
Flarn's Rebirth
But Mother wanted her son back. And mother gets what she wants. By means unknown, she ressurected Flarn. But he was not the same. His appearance and personality had been completely reversed. He now looked like some sort of hybrid between Zurg, Gaian, and Zombie. His skin was pure white, and he had hair. He seemed blindly loyal to Zurg and violent. [x] His first mission was apparently to find an neutralize 10, who had recently changed drastically in behavior himself. [x]Flarn claimed that the old flarn was gone forever, and that he cared nothing for who he once was. [x]He also became the leader of Zurg Nation, albeit briefly. [x] [x]However, his new form started having problems. He began experiencing great and constant pain, and the only thing that would ease it was DARKNRGY. His mental stability also began to deteriorate, after which 06 replaced him as leader of the Zurg Hive. [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] [x] He also started saying some rather random things, such as "MEAT" and "FEED ME!" [x] [x] Lately, Flarn has been trying to get to the Warp Portal, but the other UFOs have been trying to stop him. [Please send me a PM if you have evidence.] However, his weakness may have been discovered: Watermeat. Many theorize that the watermeat plushie symbolizes LIGHTNRGY, the opposite of DARKNRGY, due to 02's generosity. Flarn's reactions does indeed indicate that he does not like watermeat whatsoever. EDIT: there is no history of it in Darknrgy's post records..... but several people other than I have reported seeing this message. It makes you wonder why they deleted it. Darknrgy's post was to tell people about the malfuction of Towns; according to him, the server was down for maintenance, and would be online again after a two hours. Everyone was expecting a plot update that day... but he's not the only one doing things like that. I haven't been in Gaia for long, but are the annoucements this constants? They post something new every two days or so, but it has nothing to do with the story. Anyways, it's possible that the plot update happens this week. Last week 06 was in Towns, and she told us that the space portal was going to be finished within a week. Sadly, I lost the log when it erased ._.
