Roleplay school

From my random wanderings around this guild, I've seen a few of you using * actions. From those, I've noticed some of you would actually make quite good roleplayers with a little idea of something to achive.

Most of you know probably know I'm a roleplayer myself. Depite the fact that I'm alot worse then I used to be, I'm still going to offer to help you with your roleplaying, if you want.

You don't have to do it here, if you want, you can Private Message me and we'll do it there. Just say "teach me" in the PM, if you can't think of anything else to put.

Roleplaying can be summed into five levels.

Level One: 8I's sd shotz ju!!!!!221~! Naws ju r died!.Fjjskaf HAR AHR!fn*
Level Two: *I shot you, and you died. I WINZ!*
Level Three: *I jumped, and shot at the people shooting at me, wanting to kill them.*
Level Four: Ranu jumped the container, as he fired off three rounds at the advancing armored gunmen.
Level Five: ...continuing to take cover, Ranu took his Walther P99, lightly shinning in the light, as he attempted to take aim in the hail of fire, and pressured the trigger. The weapon released two rounds at the trio of gunmen, as he attempted to make clean fatal shots, but had little time to take aim..

And three rankings

Illiterate - No use of comma's, Capitals or anything else that aids the flow of a message, as well as spelling mistakes.
Semi-literate - The use of some punctuation is present enough for the post to make sense although there are occasionally sticky spots with these, and spelling.
Literate - Wow. You can spell better than a dictionary, and your punctuation skills are second to few things. Congratulations, your posts flow like a soft autumn breeze.

I myself am a semi-Literate/Literate.

Although there's many different classes of roleplay, they can usually be summed up in about five large categories.
Please note that sometimes they may cross.

Past
- This can be anything from the dawn of history, to about 10 years ago. People creating this type of roleplay generally in for swords and bows.

Modern
- These are usually earth based, and are nation based.

Future
- These are almost always star nations with spaceships and the like, although some have been known to do future earth roleplays, mostly a "what if?" senario.

Occult
- These are usually undead creature roleplays, such as Vampyres and demons, although sometimes theres a magic roleplay to be found.

Peaceful
- These are usually quiet roleplays, generally set in a bar or small town.

i love roleplays ! although i suck at the original 'live' RPGs , i never had the imagination for that,
i'd say im somewhere between level 3 and 4.. . , Semi-literate

i must say that instead of playing with ppl i more enjoy playing cRPG games .
like Baldurs Gate or Fallout :3
if anyone would like to know more about cRPGs [computer role playing game], ask, because if i were to write something about them - like Ranu did - i have no idea where to start ! xD ninja

@Jason - if you wanted to add more to your posts, and my post is in the way, gimmie a shout on MSN - i will delete it twisted :Ninja:

My friends & I have done a lot of very silly RPing on Whatsit's profile. The best stuff is buried a few pages down in the Comment history now, but we were really going good back when he decided to start firing cows at Rancher Bill with a catapult! biggrin
Nobody's using it much now, but the setup there has always been that Whatsit's a lousy chef despite his claims, & whatever he feeds you will likely be burnt/raw/inedible due to bizarre ingredients/all 3. And now he also has cows all over his Profile to cause further chaos. biggrin
Oh, yeah--we briefly spilled out into a thread we were trying to keep bumped up in the Event forum informing kids they were NOT being snubbed because they weren't getting any presents from anyone. rolleyes That didn't last long before Whatsit tried to roast a 25-lb frozen turkey with his flame swords & dropped it smack on his foot. His leaping around, screaming & Gallifryean cursing (in emotes) freaked out some newcomers to the thread! rofl

I love Doctor Whatsit... cool xd

I'm in a literate medieval/fantasy/adventure/romance roleplay, not on Gaia.

Walther P99? Sweet firearm.

I volunteer to assist with any roleplaying education that needs doing. Then again, I keep forgetting to check guilds, so... PM me?

I love RP-ing but I'm a control freak and very impatient so I had to stop...

Are there any RPs in this Guild? I guess they'd be quite weird and interesting. I have to admit, I get bored of all the vampire/demon/ninja battle ones... no-one ever wants to lose. Not that I blame them.

Story-type ones are better, I think.

So do I and the two ladies... we have mint Aero bars, Eirwyn, which ones do you prefer? cool
PostPosted: Sun Jan 28, 2007 6:46 pm

When I saw "Privates on Parade" at the theatre in Wolverhampton back in '91, I had a plain ol' regular Aero Bar. They used to carry them at the gourmet store at Chapel Hill but I think they quit--I believe they were having trouble with the distributor getting them past-date bars. I got a mint one once--it was very good. I liked the honey one, though! biggrin
In the absence of Aero Bars I took to getting another UK candy bar that I can't remember the name of at present. It had cookie bits & raisins in it & the wrapper declared they're "not for girls!" :XP: I like those a lot but I eat very little candy these days because my teeth are bothering me.

that would be a yorkie that you were refering too 3nodding

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

always had amusing TV ads for these, once deemed as the chocolate bar of truck drivers in some no doubt awfully sexist ads in the 70's, Yorkie now goes for the tongue firmly in cheek option.

Shame it's Nestle chocolate though, my views on Nestle are similar to Geo's ones of Walker's crisps i think ninja
Years back, when it was still Rowntree Macintosh the chocolate was nice! but the big French bully-boys buy them out and now it's nasty cut-rate stuff.
Having said that, i received some Nestle miniatures in an exchange package from the States, and i have to say that your Nestle is even worse than ours talk2hand

i think if the confectionery manufacturers went back to making chocolate with the same ingredients that they used 20 years ago, the general populace would be astounded!
