I think there was actually a thread like this a while ago, but I can't find it for the life of me, so I've started this one, if nobody minds. So, a little explanation. Every year my uncle throws a new year party with a fancy dress theme. This year's one was science fiction, and I, naturally, decided to go with a Doctor Who costume. I'd considered Captain Jack, as I do have an RAF officer's great coat, but unfortunately my hair is completely wrong. And then it occurred to me - I have the unruly hair, a long brown coat and a hat, and my friend has a scarf and sonic screwdriver I could borrow... well, you can see where this is going. I therefore proudly present to you me as the 4th Doctor: So, has anyone else done any Doctor Who costumes, and do you have any photos of them you can show us?

Nice. Some day when I'm actually earning enough money that I have loads of spare cash I'm going to get a Sixth Doctor costume tailored for me.

Thanks.
Sixth Doctor you say? I would pay good money to see someone actually wear a coat like his in public.

hehe...I might be sneaky and dress up as one of them. I have to dress up as a guy for a play that Im doing, and I think I will use it as an oppertunity to wear a brown suit like the 10th doctor.

I absolutely adore Six's coat, and Seven's umbrella too for that matter.

Well if you learn to knit you can always make one yourself. It was a knitted scarf after all.

Twisted Davros Well if you learn to knit you can always make one yourself. It was a knitted scarf after all. Yeahhh but made by someone who could actually knit. I mean, I have NO interest in knitting, and its really boring, and it would take ages to learn to make something without stuffing up, then it would take ages to make a scarf as long as that anyway. So I guess I'm on a quest to find someone who will knit one for me.

Well, it's not the best picture of me, but I'm dressed as Sarah Jane. It was Halloween and I decided to wear my costume to school. My outfit was the closest thing in my closet that even looked like something she'd wear.

BWAHAHAAA! Cough it up, y'all! mrgreen I made it WORSE & I wore it to a con Colin was at! mrgreen It was a deliberate parody of his costume, showing everybody how much worse it COULD have been. Colin cringed. lol He observed that must be what it was like for everyone looking at him--he wasn't aware of the effect, he said, being INSIDE the suit looking out.... I should dig it out & take better pictures, of the back panels & all...it's really insane looking!
