Now i have given you examples for both sexes and how ugly they are. It is like the twig clothier for the plus size people are trying to make us more embaressed of our size and or stature.

Well, my paranoid/cynical view is that they deliberately make it uglier to "discourage" people from being large and reenforce the view that fat is ugly, thereby increasing profit margins for the slim clothes and weight-loss products that usually come from the same company.

Goddamn, Fuzzy... you are cynical as hell.
As for me, I'm going to say it's one of those mysteries of the universe that we'll never get an answer to. They just think plus sized people look at pretty colors and shiny objects, so the addition of stripes to make the colors more hideous than usual won't deter anyone.

I dont wear them at all for i dont want to look bigger than i already am .

OMG! Someone else who thinks the same thing I do!! *hugs Fuzzy* I get told so often that I'm "paranoid/cynical/various other things" for thinking/saying that.

Those were... hideous. I wouldn't be caught dead wearing any of them. As a matter of fact, I've seen my grandpa in shirts like that. Nuh-uh. *goes into shock*

Well, for one, maybe its because you looked at one catogorly(sp) of the clothing.
Many people like different types of clothing you know? Like me for one, I don't like wearing 2XL Shirts. I always buy 4 or 5XL shirts, because I like the way they clothing just hangs losely on my body.

I currently went to this store that was a plus sized nitemare! Ok for one thing why do stores insist on puttin a huge sign up that says PLUS SIZE in the back of the store? I went there because they had some beautiful clothes. First thing that made me mad is that it started at size 12. stare Then they had skimpy things the big girls shouldn't wear...and those little tops that have the empire waist and have the...hmm...the structure of a bikini top as if our boobs are going to fit there. ::dies:: It makes me so mad!
Yesterday I went to a trendy store that I used to shop at all the time..now it seems as if they don't know what plus size is. They have a huge section of the "skinny girl" clothes and they're so hot...then there's like 1/4th of the store for us and the things they have aren't as cute(still cute though) and most of the things afen't actually made for our bodies. I hate clothing companies... cry
