Before getting FFXII
''Man it looks lame! All the best summons are gone! They were replaced with some dancing monkey and other lame summons. It really sucks. I'm not getting it. They even changed the battle system! What is Square doing, the characters all look lame. OMG this demo really sucks!"
After getting FFXII
"This game is amazing! OMG! Everything is wonderful! The characters, the espers! Belias is awesome! OMG wow! Square did wonderful! Oldie summons may not be here, but I get to fight [Gilgamesh]! The battle system needs getting use to but it is amazing!"
So yeah, basically a completely different reaction once I got into it. Now it is clearly one of my favorites.
(sigh)....I feel victim to another case of 'judging before knowing.' Definately not like me at all...

I didn't really like it at first either and I thought that it would have a lot more but it has become my favourite ff in a way, and the quickenings are done extremely well I thought.

My only regrets are with the storyline... it seemed like it ended.... prematurely to me... they could've gone on for a while before they threw the end of the game in. I don't know... I just feel like an airship as big as the bahamut... should've been more than 4 rooms.... where's my final dungeon..... 6 had kefka's tower, 7 had the north cave, 8 had ultimecia's castle, 9 had memoria, 10 had the inside of sin (though it was short the rooms were very large.) but XII..... had two rooms of normal enemies and then 4 bosses... where did my final climactic challenge of a dungeon go? ... how sad.

Aye, I expected it to go on longer than it did as well (dispite having racked up more time on my file than I've ever spent on a Final Fantasy file. 180+ hours. Damned hunts :-p). For the first time, I think I actually want a sequel to a FF! *ghasp!*

The FMV, the graphics, the hunts, the gambit system, the monsters, the character designs & the story are more than 2 thumbs-up~~!! Yaaay~~! ^w^
& u'll think that the ppl u found throughout the game are REAL ppl walking around u~!! (Or maybe coz I run around too much... XDDDD)
It's juz the battle system that I need time 2 get used to... My lil sis immediately said that she doesn't want 2 play it coz the battle system looks so complicated to her (or because she saw the several feet high t-rex walking around the desert...)...
Anyhow, FFXII is a must have to all FF fans~!!! X3

I adore it. I love the new battle system and enjoy the characters. This one seems to have more of an epic battle going on than some of the other FFs.

I love FF XII. At first though, the battle system was so annoying but after I got use to it, it is actually easier (I think). Oh, and I love Balthier, he is one of my favorite characters.

I love it for the most part.
The only thing I don't exactly care for is the battle system, it's not that the battle system is hard to use or anything like that, it is alright after you get used to it, it just isn't my preference.
