Hewwo everyone n_n I thought I would do a thread about seeing if anybody has heard of/is planning to try to go to either A-kon or Animefest. They are both local anime conventions in Texas (Dallas to be excact) Other than those in Cali. A-kon is one of the bigger and older convetions (going onto its 17th year I been going since 13 :3) Animfest is a smaller but just as good convention.

A-kon is in the first weekend of June every year, Animefest is on labor day weekend. I would think it would be fun if some of the memebers of S&S would come to one of these conventions. CJ was going to A-kon however near the last minute she couldn't come becuase of money issues. (anyone wondering why she was sad a few weeks ago thats why) anyways so I thought i put a thread up now since it would give us a chance to work something out.

If I didn't live so far away from Texas, I SO would. I wanted to go to an anime convention this may but I just didn't have the time *sighs deeply*. I hope some people go to the convention you mentioned hon heart

There's a convention going on November 25-27 called Con No Baka...it's a brand new convention that is taking place at The Doubletree International Plaza Hotel at 655 Dixon Rd right here in Toronto. They have a LOT of stuff going on, as well as a Friday and Saturday Room party from 8 pm to midnight, plus you can get a free manga if you pre-register.

I really wanted to go to the one that's coming up at the beginning of July in Cali. I think it's the 1-4th. or is it the 5th? I forgot..but yea as Shini said it's going to be a big thing.
