O song of songs,
To whom doth thou sing?
O bell of bells,
For whom doth thou toll?
In the paths of darkness down which we tread,
Does hang by a single thread,
The balance by which the whole universe exists,
Disregarding evil's sinister twists
Into the shadows we roam,
As possibly far away from home.
But what is there that we fear,
Is following us, and is very near

Amazing. Simply stunning. Kind of dark, but I like how you open with two rhetorical questions.
