Something I thought I would mention: The pillows act like the Beatles when developing song keys. It is very unlikely that they use simple chords in most places and just as unlikely that they move based on fret like most American bands that you're used to. For instance: the pillows would rather use a D suspended 7 than just a plain D or a B#m7 than just a B#. They would also rather move from a power chord at the 5th fret to one at the 8th or 4th than to the 7th because they like to establish a continutity in thier key. This is one of the reasons I love the pillows-they're so complex.
..i really wouldn't call that complex, since it's just using the same chords just sliding it up. But i must agree that they are very similar to the beatles in many ways. They still have an amazing sound ^_^
