My dad used to do this at his old workplace. Basically, you all put money into a pot, and the name of a celebrity or famous person that you think is going to die this year. If someone who's in our pot dies, then whoever guessed that person wins the pot.
My money's on Margrette Thatcher. Or Cliff Richard
