Hair: Jet black, with a grown out and messy cut. Also his hair always seems to be sticking up to some degree.
Build: Twiggy IE Slim, and a low muscle mass.
Skin tone: Caucasian (IE cracka)
Face: Deo has a forgettable face, which can be both a blessing and a curse. He has the standard Roman nose, that is admittedly little long. His face hardly has any freckles or moles on it. Yet, he dose have a very thin scar just below his lip, which is hardly noticeable. Also, contributing to his clean face, Deo constantly shaves, making his face look almost barren. Yet his eyes are a different story. Although he always wears a pair of obsidian shaded sunglasses, (due to his ever sensitivity to light) behind them, are dark lines underneath, indicated his lack of sleep. Also one eye is slightly larger than the other, which properly contributes to why he wears them. Also his forehead is covered by his messy hair, and a bit of it hangs in front of his eyes.

Clothing: Deo is not one to care about how he looks, which is very apparent due to his…style type. Normally Deon wears a black leather jacket. It’s basic in appearance, with only two side pockets for his hands. IT seems to be worn, and it’s very faded, looking more grey then black. Underneath it he wears a basic white T-shirt, which somehow always seems like it was just thrown out of a car, due to its wrinkled nature. His pants are also very basic, which usually consist of worn in black slacks, which match the faded shade of his jacket. Yet his pants are very loose (legs) so he can run, jump and move. His shoes are also give away that he enjoys moving. Although they seem to be Nike nock offs, they are defiantly athletic shoes. Yet like the rest of his cloths they are very worn in. The only stylish thing he seems to wear is of course, his sunglasses. Square in nature, and blacker then obsidian, these perfectly hide his eyes; from both the sun, and onlookers.

Career: Currently a telemarketer

History:

Childhood: His great grandparents emigrated from Austria to America and resided in Maine. About two years after he was born his parents moved to New York because his father had been reassigned to work in an office there. He still lives in the Big Apple till this day.

Notable childhood event
When he was five his mother took him to the zoo. There he became absolutely terrified of all animals. What happened, was during the bird show, he was attacked by a European falcon. The bird got right up into his face, and for some reason (It was because he had a hotdog most likely, even thought there were no food signs all around) it started pecking at his face. Luckily it didn’t do too much damage, and all that remise is a very thin scar just under the right side of his lip.

Education: Always in the office during his school years, for insubordination. Eventually he graduated and continued working as a fry cook with allot of his idiot friends. One of them was the manager of the establishment, which was why he managed to hold down the job for so long. One day, he just woke up and knew he wanted to help people, the urge for this, is still buried in his psyche. He was 19 at this point, and joined the NY police academy. At 21 he graduated from the academy, excelling in certain areas...and not shining to brightly on anything that involved studying and test taking.

Internship and minimum wage: Which is also known as slavery. For the next three years Selco focused on a few important tasks. These consisted of, getting Coffee, doing paperwork, and cleaning. After six months of this he was bumped it to security guard duty at malls and anyplace that needed an extra person to stand around and look important. Eventually, at 24, he was noticed by a higher up and promoted to working night patrols. This reason behind the promotion was that he managed to stop an armed robber from hijacking a CEO in a parking garage, which was a stroke of luck on Deon's part.

Patrolling the streets: This was Deon’s main job up until six months ago. His first partner was his future X wife, Mary Laurel. For the first few months they worked together, keeping the peace, and even appearing on cops a few times. The only really reason Deon managed to keep his job was that Mary talked to the superiors, leaving him to do his thing. Yet one night, deo decided to take her out to a fine restaurant for dinner. And from there, they hit it off. A year later they were married on December third, 2003. Soon after that Mary was promoted with her smooth talking while Deon continued patrolling the streets, taking most of the orders from the woman he loved, or at least, orders through her. Thank god that she could sugarcoat things...because if it would have been anyone else, Deon would have gone off and fired for insubordination...though he still had to bite his tong at the practically bad orders, such as riot and crowd control duty.

Rocky landing: 2005 was when it started to get rough; Mary quickly climbed the ranks until she had control over Deon's position, as well as everyone else’s. Of course this allowed deo to continue his work without biting his tong so much. Yet, there were problems in their relationship, and the two were unable to have any children. This hurt their already convoluted relationship, in which, Mary just thought deo was...too nice...way way way too nice to her, perhaps she went after those promotions for Deon to hate her, who knows?

Deon entered her head office on Valentines Day, flows and all, only to find her sprawled out on the desk with his partner...of course the flowers went into the garbage can, and he stormed out, taking his vacation early. The two tried to make it work, but eventually Deon got a divorce that winter, a week before their second year together. Some things weren’t meant to be.

Demoted: That summer was when deo was demoted. How? Let’s say he called Mary a b***h too many times away from work, and she managed to demote him for a few small regulations he broke. And by small, I mean insubordination...and by few I mean everyday. The only reason he wasn’t fired was to keep the affair a not so well kept secrete. At first he was an intern again, getting coffee and doing paperwork...well perhaps not an intern, he got pay, the correct turn was desk boy...but it was almost as bad. Yet one day, Mary had a bright idea. She knew of his fear of animals, (One day she went and bought a gerbil...she had to return it the next day because he would not go near it, for fear of mauling) and thus put him in charge of the Departments canine unit.

Looking up A month went by and Mary was offered a dream job. It involved an island paradise, and one hell of a better pay. She was gone in the blink of an eye, which left a wide grin on Deon’s face...

Problems
Yet, the smile quickly faded as a new person took over Mary's job, who quickly fired Deo. The reasons involved insubordination (again), conduct infractions, mistreatment of police items, (peppery spray is a GREAT seasoning) breaking chain of command...and a many other things...as well as a flat out refusal to do his job in the canine unit.

Aftermath
After leaving his job Deon tried to continue his old job at McDonalds, a fry cook. Sure, the pay sucked and he was fired two weeks after joining...And now he works as a telemarketer...But he says he’s much happier to be away from his X wife and those damn dogs...

Now: He just got a letter form Mary, she says that she wants to make it better. Put the pieces back and start over. Of course it was a year later...but maybe...maybe she still loved him. She wanted him to visit, to enjoy her island paradise....(Continued in sample section.)
Personality:

Deo is as independent as you can get. He hates almost all authority and will only do things for people who earn his respect. Because of this, he has been forced to learn to learn how to take care of himself, due to the fact that he cant get help from higher ups. Even at a young age he hardly got anything from his parents due to this aspect of his personality. Selco just always hated the idea of kings and leaders because his entire life he’s more or less been a pawn, whether it’s been to his parents or his bosses. The chance of someone superior asking him to do anything, and that getting done, is very slim at best if he dose not agree with it, unless the order comes from someone he loves. Perhaps that is the only way he made it so very far in life...well...that coupled with videogames, shooting an eight year old over the net and hearing them swear just brings a smile to his face...


Also, Deon is constantly pushing things off, and has been know as a huge procrastinator. Yet somehow he always manages to get it done in the last five minuets, and pass it off as acceptable. This may be another reason why he dislikes authority, because people in charge want constant work...which from his view point just isn’t needed, he’d rather just live life with a smile on his face and helping out as needed. This is probably the biggest reason why people in charge and him don’t get along too well.

Although he has a problem with leaders, Deon will do anything for friends; which he has many. He believes in helping everyone and anyone out when needed which tends to make people like him. Yet, because of this, he has been hurt in the past, because of his easy to take advantage of nature. Also he seems to want to help too badly, which means he sometimes sticks his nose where it doesn’t belong.

Deon is always trying to get people to laugh also, from raving about the man, to doing idiotic things; he kills to see people smile. Yet he can become angered in the right situation, which more or less means allot of yelling and swearing…though he hardly ever holds grudges. All in all, deo is a laid back (if not downright lazy) fun loving idiot, who will help anyone out that he can, which probably explains his carrier choices of becoming an officer of the law, even if his lack of respect for authority doesn’t sit well with him. Yet, even though he seems like he can’t be angered, his rage slowly builds up inside of him and he will eventually burst...maybe he needs a better way of dealing with stress.

Habits/Hobbies: He currently doesn’t have time for anything other then smoking. Also he won’t go near any animals, ever.

Special Talents: Has a knack for getting things done quickly, (yet often just plausible). And for making people in charge angry…as well as making friends and everyday folk laugh.
