I heart Fushigi Yugi! I've only read volume 1, but it was SO good, and I can't wait to get #2!!

Come on. NOBODY has read Fushigi Yugi? It is the best manga ever! It is also by the same author as Ceres and Alice 19th( Yuu Watase).

i Bought the WHOLE series (except all of the Genbu Kidan sp??) in one week XD i was poor after that, there are 18 in the series XD but i cried, laughed, hated, loved, and HAD A BLAST! i loved the Series!! Yuu Watase ROCKS!

Lately, I have realized that Yuu Watase's work makes me very emotional. I mean, I usually never cry/show emotion, but I was crying my eyes out at the end of the 8th book. it made me depressed the rest of the day.

it's the first manga i ever read. ^.^
either nuriko or chichiri is my favorite.

i'm working on Alice 19th i have to save to get FY and CERES cause i buy through amazon mostly love those new cheep copies of manga but the Fy and Ceres books are out of my price ranger right now but i shall get them soooooooooonnnnnnn

DX I still can't believe how long the English translations took. I bought the whole set already in Taiwan when the English volumes were still up to like...5, or somewhere there. DX
I loved it. It's one of her best series. A true classic. :3
Although...I still hate Miaka with a passion. -_-;;
My favorite will forever remain Hotohori :3 Tamahome's too generic for me, and I have this habit of always prefering minor characters over the major leads. o_o;;

i would agree with you on that one i like a lot of the minor chars. for the fact that they make me laugh more like Tasuki and Kouji i love how they have to say that long entrance!!!!! my and my lil sister use to say it all the time when eather one of us wanted to enter a room! lol and soi lil parts in the story made me sad or angry mostly sad when you know what happened to her as a child !

Fushigi yugi is my all time favorite manga I have all 18 and have been collecting the Genbu Kiaden series!!
I love anything by Yuu Watase!!!!
