now, i ve noticed a lot of you use sites to learn japanese that :a re just horribly basic.

occasionally incorrect.

use way too much romaji

So lets go over some better sites:

http://jgram.org

Very useful for people who dont need everything explained to them. works jplt style, and has some very adanced grammars

http://nihongo.3yen.org

this one is a blog that focuses on very important details of japanese

http://guidetojapanese.org

an excellent site. discourages romaji (wave your mouse over kanji to see kana readings, but still no romaji, occasionally it doesnt show, i suggest you download rikaichan for firefox then.)

these are some of the best sites available, and the 3rd site, is constantly being corrected, having updates etc.

also, if you want, post the links of any japanese sites you have and i ll validate it, incase you re being taught by an idiot.

http://genkienglish.net/genkijapan/menu.htm What about this one? I know the pronounciation on the number song is TERRIBLE! But the shopping thing seemed to help me out a lot with realizing just how quickly native Japanese people speak.

Its not very fast... quite a few intermediate students will tell you.

the site is a complete waste of pixels, the one on shopping is ok, but anyone who knows japanese sounds can make that out

What about Japancast.net? Paul and Hitomi have a great podcast and we're always posting links, information, and wacky videos.
