S.H.R. Agency
Someone at the agency had thought they'd gotten smart. In order to prevent minor felony actions occuring...such as tampering with US mailboxes and running stop signs...the infamous messenger had been given a job he didn't like nearly as much.
He got to use the agency phoning system.
Geeez....it wasn't like he'd ever hurt anyone...
Sighing, the messenger picked up the phone with a lot less enthusiasm than he had in delivering those messages.
When the phone was answered, though, he did enjoy making his voice sound all weird.. Once he'd acted like a cat, and one time like a spooky salesperson, and once he tried to pretend he was Charles himself...He'd have to try doing that when calling a pizza place or something.
"Hello, this I am calling from the S.H.R. Agency, is this InsertNameHere..ah, I mean, Joshua McKinley?" The messenger grinned. He was following script. At least that part was to the tee. Of course, he ignored logic like putting in names and asking people who were so obviously not who he was looking for that same question.

Ring ring....
Ring ring...
Ring ri...
"Ummm hi?" Candice held the phone close to her ear and winced slightly at the bumped shin that had acompanied the mad rush to first find the phone and then pick it up out of the piles of letters that had been hiding it. "Nope sorry, he's not here." She didn't mention that he had suppost to come home last night and was probably still at work. Not that it was too much of a problem, she was self sufficient enough to know how to use the teleporter and eat up some of the left over piza she had ordered with Joshua's credit cards. In fact she was doing pretty much the same things she'd be doing if he was at home only without him making the mess as well. Candice knew it was important things that had kept his head in the computer for as long as she did but sometimes she wished he'd take a break, he was starting to look like a ghost!
