huh?
I thought the ending was when InuYasha is in the demon's stomach and purifies the jewelshard because Kagome is holding him.
isn't that episode 157 or something like that? and then at the end it basically ends it. But i might be wrong.

Ummm there's only one "ending" and nobody dies. I'm sorry but your friend lied to you. Trust me, the half assed, open ended "ending" that you saw on TV is the only ending in exsistence. There are no more OAVs, or anime eps, after this, unless they make new ones. The manga on the other hand... well lets just Rumiko seems to be starting to wrap it up, then again it seemed like that at the end of the Abi-hime arc. sweatdrop Wikipedia never lies

In the anime no one dies and it is a pretty sucky ending. No one dies, they don't get all the jewel shards, and they don't even kill Naraku. It was pretty sad cause nothing was accomplished at all except for living through being in a demon's stomach but other than that there was hardly any fighting or anything. I'm sorry I just thought it totally sucked and was a rip off.

yeah i saw the last episode supposidly and well it wasn't all that good..... like yes i will say kougra looked hot without a shirt on but well like wtf???? anywho, i don't think it ever ends, it just goes on and on, and rumiko is in the process of making more eps, so yeah.......

I was EXTREMELY disappointedwith the ending episode. Although, I knew the disappointing ending was to come. They should make more Inuyasha episodes, or at least a movie. You cannot leave a cliffy to end a wonderful anime! evil
