But I think that we can't afford to overlook anything. Could there be hidden clues within the supposedly harmless comic?

There is definately a major importance that I think I may just be the first one to notice. The simple matter, is that the UFO broke down. What caused this break-down? Perhaps if we can figure out why this saucer got wrecked, and how it got wrecked, we can attack a direct weakness and flaw in the UFO design.
Or maybe it's just out of gas.

One thing to consider though (and this just occured to me), is which Zurg is featured in the comic?
Is it possible that 09 is the unnamed Zurg? If his ship broke down, that could explain why he has disappeared so suddenly. Although his attitude towards Manny doesn't seem to be that of one who was having an affair with a Gaian...
Perhaps, then, if 09 is the Zurg in the comic, he doesn't feel hospitable towards all Gaians; only the one with whom he is in love, be it Yuzi_K or not.
Thoughts?

Well, I think it's safe to say it's not 11 or 02.
It's not slow or terribly hostile. It is a little disdainful, but obviously not violent.

If it were Flarn/09, he would likely be wearing his trademark top hat. I think it's just some generic Zurg. In fact, the only one it really could be, is Mother, due to the lack of any clothing at all, including boxers.

To be fair... he says it's malfunctioning, not that he ran it into a tree or something.
Perhaps it's 01 or 04 or another UFO we haven't met. Perhaps he got seperated from the rest of the "family" and that's why he hasn't been active? Maybe he's on foot somewhere looking for Mother and his brothers? eek
PS
On a similar note, is it possible that some of the yet-to-be-introduced UFOs are female? Hmm? Just a thought.
