I was wondering when was a good time to come to the guild and actually have a person on here besides me? I know I have been having issues with my computer and I'm not upset when I come on here that I always seem to be the only one on here but I know that is not true because when I do come here I see different subjects have been discussed. I go from guild to guild and I still don't seem to have anyone to talk with. Any suggestions?

Maybe it's because I move around too fast and don't wait for someone to response to my post?

I dunno, could be.

With this guild and any other that involves older people, they tend to move pretty slow and people are on at weird times and not on for long. It can be a bit vexing at times, but at others, I'm glad they do move slow because then I don't get too behind.

I have a shy loner problem. so I do surf but don't really post. I'm not really sure why I do it...

I often have the same problem -being in Australia I'm often on at strange times for the rest of the world, but I tend to just reply to any posts that interest me in this guild, and start any threads I feel I need to start, then if someone replies immediately, that's great! If not, I just catch up on what people's responses have been the next time I am online! It works for me...

Hmm.. I've never used a message board to chat in "real time," as they aren't really meant for that, but rather casual browsing of messages.. I usually only come on the boards for a few minutes, check the messages, and then I'm off again.

If you are interested in having a chat, perhaps we could schedule a monthly or bi-monthly "Guild Chat," where we could all meet somewhere in Gaia towns and talk in real time? I think that would be more efficient than trying to have real time conversation on a message board.

Perhaps we could set something up.

Yes it is very hard. Pm's work for a more continual conversation. I work very different shifts all the time, so I just get on here whenever. I do like the idea of setting up a guild chat. That would give all of us a set time and place to chat. Set it up for like 3 different times a week. That would be cool.

I think that's a great idea Nessa! It takes us back to the guild house idea...

Does anyone know how to find your own address if you've forgotten it? I have a house that I never use and am more than happy for the guild to use it, but I can't remember the address! I'm sure finding it is very simple....

Honestly, I'm not one up for live chatting on a forum. I prefer to do messenger that way. Also, I admit I don't post in all topics. That pesky real life is a bummer, ain't it? rofl
