Eee, glitter!

That had to be the main theme of this room. Or possibly white. Or maybe a combination of the two, ne? The christmas tree was the centerpiece of the place - it was enormous, and incredibly green and lush, with long needles that had so far failed to shed onto the white downy floor. It had been potted in an enormous terracotta pot that had been wrapped - with probably just a little work - in wrapping paper, and an enormous number of presents had been stacked up around the base, in piles and little drifts. From the odd little gaps, one could tell that there was probably going to be even more on christmas day - funfunfun! As far as one could tell, somebody had set up a hologram projector, which was causing snow to fall from the ceiling, and building up on the floor without ever really getting any higher - this was obvious because it was perfectly warm. The clever thing about it was that it allowed one to play with the snow, without the problem of getting wet or cold - you could even shape it into snowballs, although it wouldn't really do any damage. One wall had a hologram projected onto it which showed a forest scape - occasionally, if one watched long enough, a herd of deer or a couple of wolves wandered past. So far none of the wolves had caught the deer, but it was only a matter of time, surely. A few benches were scattered around the room, a little covered by drifts of snow, but perfectly fine to sit on, as your bum wouldn't get wet from holographic snow! There was also a long table by the wall on which the forest were projected, surrounded by elaborately carved chairs; it was quite likely that this was where christmas lunch would be eaten.

Two doors led off of the room - one from the main deck of the ship, and the other - well, elsewhere, into the bowels of the megalith, presumably.

Chiara had been exploring the ship, just tossing her suitcase into her room, and she finally reached the Promenade deck. She entered the Christmas room and stared all around her. It was so pretty and sparkly! She bent down to touch the snow, which wasn't cold! With childlike delight, she bent down and fiddled with in for awhile, trying to figure out how it worked. Finally, it dawned on her. "This is the most realistic hologram I've ever seen," She said in English. She might as well practice, after all.

Chiara was semi-surprised to see a bright red head appear behind the snow wall but unsurprisingly, she was unsurprised at his question. She paused for a moment before answering, bending down and trying to form a snowball. A nice idea in theory but the hologram snow was hard to pack. "I'll help attack random kids," She said decisively, grinned and walked over to his wall, kicking up snow like an unskilled child kicking a soccer ball. After all, in a one on one fight, she would most definitely lose and anyone on this ship might be a superhero and they, likely, had a better throwing arm than her, she thought.
