I had 9 trombones in my section when I was in eigth grade. I also had atl east I dunno 15 saxes more than likely more.

So many claranets burning_eyes . We have a whopping four flutes in our section... Yay for us!!

There were three violas in my school orchestra, but I dropped out because I was in the hospital for a while and I needed a study hall...

there are about 20 clarinets in wind ensemble, in Eighth grade, there are ATLEAST 30 clarinets
fun fun fun being section leader for such a huge group...=_=

In my band class at school there are only two baritones. It's sad but not alot of competition for first chair which is very nice wink

OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we consider our flutes to be an ARMY and we don't have that many eek anyways, 9 trumpets, two of which also play in the other band, which has 7

Three people are in my section (the clarinets), four if you include the bass clarinet. Nevertheless, we are a strong section. At our last concert, we got a bunch of comments agreeing with that. However, you can barely hear the flutes. Which sucks.

um...theres 3 1st, 4 2nd, and 3 3rds in our lovely clarinet sec and all the seconds are counting down the days till they get to be first cuz that means the good clarinets

I there is about 34 flutes in the ...flute section during marching season.
