Welcome to Gaia! ::

Guys, this has been a blast. It really has.

But things can't keep going like they have been. It is my belief that I have become psychologically addicted to Gaia, or possibly just my duties as leader of the GIB.

My grades have been suffering. Last year, I was a straight A college student. Now, I'm in danger of failing out of my Japanese class.

In all semesters past, I have signed up for my classes as soon as registration opened, and always gotten the ones I wanted. This semester, I registered two days late, and am unable to get into any sections of Creative Writing, despite the fact that I have just declared it as my minor.

Now, I can't say that the problem rests entirely on Gaia. My grades were already not what they should have been for this semester. However, with all the excitement happening here, instead of concentrating on improving them, I have let them slide farther and farther, and I just can't let Gaia or the GIB get in the way of my real life any longer. I fear for my future.

With that in mind, for the next week or so, I'm only going to be loggin in once a day to check my PMs.

Now, I'm not disbanding the GIB or anything. In fact, I want you all to continue having fun, and investigating the aliens, and showing Gaia that we ARE here for their protection. I even want you all to have extra fun with it, if possible, to make up for my abscence. emo

Now, I'm sure things won't fall apart in just because I'm gone. I trust most of you completely, and we've still got our wonderful crew to call upon if you need the input or action of someone higher up. Give them a PM if you ever feel like you need someone in charge.

PS: I want you to understand I'm being completely serious, here. I may need your help with this. So if you notice that I'm online, especially for more than half an hour at a stretch, I want you to remind me that I probably have other things I should be doing.

Don't worry you get your life back together we'll look after gaia. Don't try to rush the straightening either. And if you need to take a break again in the future don't tell anyone just do it.
