Laia had enough of staying in the waiting room for the kings speech, it seemed he wouldn't show up today, maybe she would go and speak with him personally later, or maybe not...She already knew what he would say, the usual things...What she was really interested in was the battle strategies, to see just what was their fire power for this war and to what extreme they could go...

But for now, her chambers, her sanctuary, she had to create. She walked through the magnificent and some others plain hallways, letting her hand brush across the walls, her palm stroking the cold stone that lined the hallways...

She waited, waited until she found the perfect room for her with the perfect energy, so she could create her own home, her own little piece of relaxation during these stressful times. She would eventually stop at a rather plain wooden door, her eyes glancing over to the door, she pushed it open, swiftly making her way inside with her arms at her sides, glancing around at the very, very poor room, the coco over her shoulder would blink then chuckle: "Wonderful tastes lady Laia." Laia glared to the neko: "Don't call me lady...I'm merely a monster... A demon, I do not have the perfection of a lady."

The shadow spirit only chuckled at the demonesses response as she walked in, her tail swiftly moving from side to side under her coat, she would eye the room before throwing her traveling bag on the bed: "I'm going to need to head to the library." She simply said: "I remember the spell book I used those many centuries ago." She turned around and stepped out of the room.

((Continued at the Library))

Coming back into the bedroom moments later, carrying her claim from the library, she opened the book and began to stroke her fingers over the pages, glancing over the letters which were obviously demonian. She could read them, perfectly, they were her kinds language after all, she placed her hand over the book before glaring over her shoulder: "Get out of the room..."

The shadow spirit nodded and merely made it's way out of the room, of course the coco almost ready to fight but when she would glare at her pupils would turn to mere slits the coco bowed it's head and ran off with it's tail between it's legs.

She then smirked and turned back to the book, reading over a certain paragraph, before she closed her eyes and extended her hand out, a pentagram forming under her as she began to chant, palm then turning from side up to down, the pentagram would start to turn and a violet light then become goo substance tentacles, and would cover the walls and items of the room, before dragging them around to it's mistress desire. Her own eyes violet as she watched the work of her own energy as it did as she wished some of the goo turning into steps inside the bedroom, becoming items she wished for and needed, others shaping.

Soon the room had been completely changed to her liking, she smirking at the lamp stands at the doorway lighten with some blue fire. Then would come the whole room, the room now black marbled floored and walled, a black wooden coffin laying on a black pedestal in the middle of the room, with blue roses in a basket over the coffin dropping it's never ending amount of petals onto the coffin and pooling around the pedestal.

There was no windows in her room, just blue light keeping the room litten, as well as a fireplace was formed on the right side of the room, with a blue carpet on the ground and two blue lounge chairs, there was other such useful things in the room such as a bookcase containing all her books, a closet which held her clothing and some paintings she had done when she was a lesser demon and had hobbies, all as disturbing as the other, but yet so truthful.

She smiled for the first time at feeling finally at home. She would set the book away and then move over to the bathroom which had been attached to the bedroom, there was a black marble tub and a mirror, with candles lighting the bathroom. Many blue candles lining the counters and framing of the large square tub, there was blue rose petals once more, the water itself had been replaced with her own potion which would make her skin softer then any soap would make it, as well as it was healthy for her demonic skin compared to water and would never grow cold or dirty no matter what.

She gave a satisfied look and then finally turned around leaving the bedroom to explore her new current home.

((Continued from the Dark Forest))

Christophers began to say something, but the blood that splattered him in the face distracted him.

"What the hell? She deaf?" Christophers shook his head as he watched her fly off. She was a bit irritating, but this was not the norm for a supposed Demon. There was now Christophers realized more going on than her concern about the curse. Or even her death, and even surprised him a bit more. Christophers could not help but wonder if there was something more to this situation between her and the King or what?

Christopher mentioned a command word, and in reaction one of his magical devices teleported him to his study.

"So... She won't come to my study....."

Some time passes......

When Laia opened the room to her quarters she was shocked to see her room in disarray, and that her had been violated. Several stone like creatures moved about carrying books, and stacking them on the floor or tables.

Though this irritation was soon distracted by a familiar voice. She turned and looked to see Christophers sitting on her couch sipping on a cup in one hand, and a book in the other.

"Apparently my hospitality is inadequate to your needs, so.... I thought I would come here to continue our little chat."

Laia had walked into her room with her head bowed and she used her back to close the door, blood still dripping to the ground from her wings, she was exhausted with the work breaking her own spell on her wings made her do, although feeling the magical aura she placed a hand on her sword and glared at the stone like creatures...Eyeing them to see if they would turn to her and attack, wondering what the hell was going on in here.

She then narrowed her eyes over to Christophers who she caught at the corner of her eye, she blinked: "So you're responsible for this?" She would slide her sword back into it's sheath and then sighed.

"I was going to wait until you had found something to continue on with the questions, let's just say that being interviewed annoys me." She simply said, moving over to him and folding her arms, glancing down at him.

"Let's just say my room is a lot more comfortable to chit chat in pther then some dark woods with creatures who might be spying on us as well as even planning on taking my head seeing how weak I am with the curse, it wasn't the most pleasant thought in the world really."

She moved to a sit beside him and then folded her leg over the other, flopping back onto the bed and folding her arms behind her head: "So what were those questions you were seeking to ask me?" She closed her eyes pleasantly, tapping her foot as she waited.

Christophers stared and listened to the spectacle as it unfolded. His anger was growing by the second, and upon finally ushering her last word, Laia would know of his anger.

"Save me your excuses, and your insults. I am not some mere magus, and I grow tired of your drama queen antics."

Christophers stood up, and his anger could be easily heard in his voice.

"You sought me for assistance, not vice versa. Out of respect to Galen I was inclined to assist you in the removal of your curse. You act as a spoiled child in need of a good spanking."

Christophers put the cup down on the table, and turned to look at her. The anger was very evident on his face.

"I grow weary of this, the King needs you, I don't. You might be used to getting your way with others, but I assure you I am not one of them. So if you want my assistance, you know where to find me, and if you do.... Grow up."

Christophers recovered his jacket and put it on.

"Guardians, recover all books, and egress back to the Entente'."

Obediantly the guardian or stone creatures began picking up there books, and surprisingly enough began teleporting.

"Oh, and by the way, don't try scrying me, or any extra dimensional travels to get aboard my ship. I would hate for one of my magical wards to further damage you."

A moment later, he faded from sight via a teleport.

Laia had remained silent through all of the ranting, she wasn't interested in knowing his point of view of her, she was what she was and she wouldn't change for anyone, who ever they were, Galen knew that...Galen was actually the only one who knew her well.

She sighed and just would keep her eyes on where Christophers had teleported away, she just eyed the spot. before muttering: "Might have to spray the spot with disinfectant...Stinking human like magus's..." She muttered once more and then sighed, walking over to her closet. She would go see the king, she would tell him about his friend...About she couldn't stand him, and how she would rather die then work with a man like that. Sliding her cloths off she took out a dark halo, closing her eyes and once more she muttered a spell and then the halo would attach itself to her form, covering only the necessary parts, she smirked and then slid on knee high boots, standing up, she stretched and then picked up her weapons, letting her wings spread and then fold against her back.

She sighed and then looked around the room once more, glancing over the books...If he didn't want to help her...Why should she care? She batted her wings and then wrapped her arms around herself, her tail flicking from side to side.

fixing her hair back up, she turned around and went to heading towards her kings chambers.

After Laia had left, the Golems continued to teleport in and out as they removed the books that Christophers had directed them to bring in the first place.

It was not long before the room was left as it was previously.
