lol Any tips? I've been trying for a little bit, but seem to lack the focus to create it via the more meditative ways. Sometimes I can feel warmth or a tingly sensation in my hands, but I think it's mostly imagination and my limbs falling asleep.

Have a clear idea of what you want to do exactly, and just think about it as focused as you can.
If you have trouble with focus, try meditation. Of course, I've already told you most of this. LOL

This is a homework item I threw out when I was doing a Color Magic class to help out with some basic magical aptitutes people SHOULD already have before taking the course. This might help you out. Starlock Have you ever done that trick where if a friend points their finger directly between your eyebrows (without actually touching you), you feel a tingling or warm sensation? Or maybe you just felt a chill for no reason? What you feel will be similar to these sensations. This will work best if you try this free of distractions, so find a place where you won't be bothered for a while. Hold your hands so the palms are facing each other, about a foot apart. Slowly begin to move your hands together, but don't let them touch. You should feel a sort of energy resistance between them; a pressure. Don't worry if you don't feel it right away; or it may feel a bit different to you than I've described it. If you feel you've gotten the hang of this, with palms still facing, use one hand to pull that energy out of the other hand. It should feel as if there is energy being tugged out and the other receiving it. Play around with moving energy back and forth to different locations in your hands. Feel like trying something else? Try sensing that resistance in other parts of your body. Concentrate energy into a little ball between your hands. Just play with it and have fun!

Ohboy. Here's how.... 1) Pick a source. You won't be drawing energy from this source, as it's self generated, but it's a good visualization. 2) Imagine yourself "on" this source. 3) Draw energy from it. Like, it seeps through your feet and into your hands.
I'm not going in detail on how to make it hot/cold or make it shaped....

Actually doesn't matter. It's one of those words that can be spelled any number of ways, depending on where you're from. I'm a grammar Nazi, so I know. XD

also if you can simulate emotions and force feel them in your hands then you can also do it outside of your body and make a psi-ball with that. or you can just visualize lighting coming from the two to three inches beneath your navel and force yourself to feel vibrations moving through your arms and out your hands and see it forming a ball between your hands. (these are some fairly easy ways to do it)

Makeing a Psi-ball takes time so if you cant get it right away dont give up keep trying.I always had it easy tho,I focus all my energy into my core, and slowly push it towards my hands. With me it feels hot and staticy sometimes it can be painful if I focus hard.I have even heard of people getting burns but there isnt any danger in doing this just use with care.

I recomend letting the engery flow from one limb to the next, first. Like bring the engery from your legs into your shoulders, from your shoulders to your arms, then from arms to hands.
It'll be easier to create stuff with your engery once you know how to properly control it. I don't neeed much concentration because I'm only--most times--taking engery from, for example, my legs to my shoulders if my shoulders hurt.
It kinda makes my legs feel funny but it makes the engery easier to control and cast out of my own body into others.
Still, everyone's different.
