Due to high demand and the fact that I though I had already done this, here starts and actual sex magic sub-forum thread thingyYayyyyy! *Throws confetti and chocolate an whatever else festive she can think of.* But seriously for discussions aout sex magic. (Look if some one feels this is totally inapropriate please don't be offended) Chaos, music, elemental, dark and light magics have sub-forums and most fey, wiccans, and pagans I know are taught from the time they are wee things how important sex is to well everything (Including the continuation of the species smile ) It is at the heart of creation.......stops rambling and waits hopefully for this idea not to totally bomb

Sorry if a lot of people hate me for this, but a forum where most of the adherents are minors, I'd say this is NOT the place to be discussing the raising of magical energy through sex.
I could go into the entire dialog of the exact possible legal and social ramifactions of encouraging minors to have sex, but in this day and age I should hope we all know it by heart by now.
And you know how powerfully normal sex can change a relationship, and how much more painful it can be if that relationship sours? When two partners participate in something as powerful as say, the wiccan great rite, take that power and magnify it by a few powers of ten. And if I recall rightly from what I've read about wicca, the great rite is generally never performed by anyone but the high priest and priestess, if it is even litterally performed at all as opposed to the symbolic thrusting of the athame into the chalice full of wine.
Bottom line being most adults I've seen are unable to handle garden variety sexual relationships maturely, let alone something as special as two people joining their sexuality to raise energy for magical purposes... and from what I've seen of the guild here it would not be a wise to encourage the study of this topic until others are mastered.

I hate censorship...anybody here could EASILY go to Google images and get more sex than what you'd talk about in sex magick. I say go for it, sex isn't a nasty forbidden evil thing....it's natural.

Basically, if I get a request from admine or something to take this down I will, however in a sub-forum that looked like it was about this there was a lot of why nots, so I just decided to post one and watch what happens....I didn't understand why no one else did it...I still don't understand why no one did it. Magic is magic, it's like discussing Goddess and not God, or air, fire, and earth and no water.....it seems like pretending a key element in magic doesn't exist or is taboo......I'm not picking a fight with anyone, just explaining my position.

And no, I don't support sterilization of serial killers, because first of all, they'll get life in prison, if not a death sentence, and second because they've got to be able to have a little bit of fun in prison. So yes, there's my sociological speculation for today.

I can't much object to this topic SO LONG AS YOU DON'T GET EXPLICIT.
In short; no TOS violations/TOS violating material is to be posted in here. (If it can be posted in the forums without you getting banned or reported, then you can post it here.)
Even though such may not happen here in this thread, I just thought that I would voice that.

Ehh... Im a virgin. I know enough about sex to have it, but its not exactly appealing at the moment. And as I don't have a boyfriend nor the fortitude for one-night stands, sex magick isn't an option for me. However, I hear masturbation works the same way. Rises the same amount of energy, and since its you doing it, you can raise it as fast or slowly as needed.
It's a valid way to raise energy, and it has symbolic means for many common magickal intents, such as teamwork, bringing something to fruition, joining together, etc etc.
As for the socialogical standpoint on this, I think that people with stable relationships should be the only ones doing this. Thats it. However, notice I didn't say what kind of relationship... ninja ([...*.Light to the world.*...])

Like, from my side of the magical world....sex is magic and vice versa, same with music. Sex is creation and transformation , so is magic....mostly I am sure there are exceptions. But then to me sex is more a dance than anything... (an important dance meant to be with a chosen partner or partners)..meh what can I say to quote Einstein "I see the world in terms of music"

So yes, there's my sociological speculation for today. I really have a problem with forced sterilization since its been done in America and is what I consider well a violation of basic rights. To me its trying to create a master race. Plus, the day the law decides who has babies and who doesnt is the day that nature itself gets ********. As for the sexual offender thing....untill they define that so that one doesn't end up with the label for screwing a prostitute or hell even being one, I don't like any laws to mess with them after they've done their time. Don't get me wrong if I were to choose what happened to actual sexual predators, they would get hell on earth, but as it stands prostitution on either sides is illegal and can get you labeled as a sex offender and I don't know how the law has the right to make it illegal, we are capitalists after all. I don't necessarrily approve of prostitution but to me it should be a choice thing. And as always I have argued more than one thing and perhaps done so too passionately and if so I apologize.

I'm not sexually active yet (virgin waiting for a good, open minded, truly caring sweet girl) but sex magick is something I'm really interested in ^.^(what can I say? I'm a kinky son of a b***h xD )
